Q: At present What would be your top six stocks to buy for a 90,000$ TFSA contribution for sustainable growth.Any suggestions as to how to stage the purchase.?

Q: Hi,
I have been currently holding these for awhile and have done well on them, other than maybe WELL, which has been lagging a bit lately. Here are my allocations: WELL (1.7%), SLF (2%), GSY (3.5%) and NVDA (3.8%).

Recently in the last few months, I trimmed some NVDA and bought some VRT (1%) and SMCI (1%). For a growth investor, how would you rank these 3 stocks going forward? Would you continue to trim and buy these smaller cap higher growth names. With the run that they've had, I've been a little more cautious of a slowdown.

Also with these other names I'm holding, I'm contemplating trimming or completely switching to higher growth and better quality names with better runway for growth. What are your thoughts? Trim, add or switch? For example, does it make sense to trim a 3.0% position into two names that are only 1.5%? I'm against diworsification. Thank you!

Q: Over the last couple of months and as a result of comments made here I have started positions in the above five companies with funds allocated to higher growth potential/higher potential volatility etc.

Four of the five have done very well so thank you. In keeping with your philosophy of pulling the weeds and watering the flowers I have a couple of questions:

1) Would you sell ESTC at this point in time and realocate the funds to one of the four flowers or to a "new" high reward potential investment you would suggest?

2) The ESTC issue aside, would you be adding to any of these flowers at this point in time and in which order?

Q: I need to trim SMCI, NVDA and VRT. I have partial positions in AMZN, MSFT, AMD, LLY,GOOG, AXON, NXT, CELH, PLTR and NTNX. Could you please order the partial positions from high to low, for a potential add? What are your recommendations for 4 or 5 other growth stocks, any size/sector that I could investigate for a new position? Would any of the these growth stocks fit into the ranking of the partial positions? If so, could you place them into the ranking? Q: These two stocks were recommended as AI growth investments relating to data centres. Could you provide a comparison of the two in terms of upside downside relative valuation and whether you would buy either or both at this time with confidence for a 3 year hold. Thank you.

Q: SMCI has raised cash twice in the last 6 months, arguably much more cash than they really need which has increased speculation about possible acquisitions.

From their corporate presentations we know VRT have planned to scale production of a newly acquired liquid cooling technology over 40x through the course of this year. Seems like something that would take some up front capital investment. Does your crystal ball foresee VRT raising cash? Do they need to raise cash or is cash flow strong enough to grow the business?

Q: AI is expected to increase data generation requiring "massive increases in bandwidth" [BAC] to transmit that data. Which companies are investable to provide the equipment to handle the data increase. What target buy prices would you advise. Please rank your top 3 ?

Q: Hi Team,
I was debating taking a position in VRT. However, I am way overweight in NVDA at the moment in my portfolio. I was wondering if VRT is a stock that will be highly correlated to AI, and might track the sector same as NVDA? Perhaps they are too closely related to hold both? Or do you feel they are different enough that I should be holding both? I have been hesitant to trim NVDA for other AI plays simply due to the fact that NVDA seems to be the clear leader in the space and why sell the "Best"? Your thoughts please. Thanks

Q: I want to spend the next 14 months growing my TFSA to pay down my mortgage when it comes due in June 2025. I started this quest about 6 months ago with 20% of the funds, and I'm now about halfway there. I have funds in US for 6 positions, and Canadian for 3, and currently own the above stocks. I haven't yet made my TFSA contribution for 2024, so could add a position to either. Keeping in mind the remainder of my portfolio is well balanced (cash account and RRSP) and this is a 14-month growth mission, do you see anything I should sell, or can you recommend something I should buy?

Q: Would you be comfortable bringing VRT up to a full position? I currently have half a position and uncommitted funds to increase that to a full position. If you would prefer more diversity, can you provide three other suggestions for a US growth stock - not in the consumer cyclical space - for a TFSA? (NVDA already held.) Thank you.

Q: EDGE AI - which stocks are aligned with EDGE AI? In your view, is this an important next step in the evolution of AI?

Q: As part of a growth oriented US$ portfolio, I have 1.5% positions in each of VRT and CELH . I now have some extra cash available from taking a bit of the very nice profit in my SMCI holding (thank you, 5i)
My plan was to increase one or both of those 1.5% positions with that cash, but I have also been considering a starter position in AXON. Your comments would be appreciated, and if you think Axon would be your preference, could you give a ballpark buy price.
