Q: There has been good appreciation in many Canadian healthcare names over the last while. When I look at RX I see a company with no debt, free cash flow, growing cash position, and moderate earnings growth. All the while it appears poised for a good q4 and trades at a relatively reasonable p/e compared to the sector. Is this stock poised to move higher at some point soon? Would you recommend it here? Thanks
Q: Please give me your opinion of this co. and the people that are running it .thanks,ed
Q: Good Evening
Yesterday when you answered Michael's question you referred of a Mr. Michael Cooper. My broker's site is showing that the CEO of this company is Jane Gavan.
I noted that the CEO has increased the number of shares held from 20,000 to 38,000 in a year. Is this a positive sign in holding the stock?
Furthermore do you have any figures with respect to the ownership percentage by the insiders of this company?
Would you view the insider activity as positive, negative or neutral for D.UN ?
Thanks

Q: This security matures in 2018. I bought it during the DH drop as I thought it would be more secure and it pays 6% as well. Now that the takeover is pending, what happens to this income security?
Q: What are the prospects for TSLA..looks like it is slowly becoming an energy company as well. With the deal in Austrailia. I have a 1/3 position..is it time to add more?..I understand that this is a riskier stock.Thanks.
Q: Due to recent bank stock valuation gains, I am over-weight in financials. My finance sector contains SLF and three banks; TD, BNS, and RY at 6.3%, 5.8% and 5.2% of my portfolio, respectively. I would like to reduce my bank ownership for portfolio balance and I am considering two options; bringing each of the stocks down to 4% each or selling one of the banks, say RY, outright. As background, a full position for me is around 5%. My question, which of the two options would you prefer? And if it is option 2, which bank should I sell? Thanks.
Q: Is this still a strong hold ... or has it deteriorated to a tepid one? Everything seems a bit lacklustre on its future, judging from the recent replies you've made to other members. Perhaps I'm misinterpreting, but your answer to Colum on Mar 1st suggested, in a roundabout way, that "it's time to dump this loser". I'm down 26% and wonder what it would take to inject some life into this company?
Q: There is a rumor that capital gains taxes are going up ib the next budget. Should I be selling some of my big winners before the budget? Thanks, Mark
Q: The contract with Chinese Company was for $ 1,100,000.00 to build 37 lifts. This works out to $ 30,000.00 per lift. Seems cheap to me.Is this a lost leader for future business in China. China will be a huge market for SIS. I really like the deal. Your thoughts please. Sis is projecting revenue growth of 19.1 % and Ebitda growth of 30 %.How much of their production comes from China ? A real winner. Thank you 5I.Bob

Q: I'm trying to get my wife's rrsp some international exposure with an ETF that pays a decent dividend for income.Aside from it's small size[ 11.42 M ] but a nice 6.02% div, is there any down side in your view. If so, your alternatives? It currently has XHY and 22 other income and some growth stocks each about equally weighted.
Secondly, a suggested CDN ETF with US large cap/financial exposure that as pays a 3+ % div.

Q: QEC has fallen below the .79 cent of the last offer . What is your opinion on what is going on. Does it look like they will be able to drill in Quebec? Is it a hold sell or buy in your opinion?
Q: Hello 5i, the only US stock I own is NVidia. I'm trying to decide between two ETfs: VFV or IWO. I know you have recommended IWO before. Or should I own both of them?

Q: If the government increases the capital gains tax, like it did in the past, does it affect the gains executed prior to March 22? If it doesn't apply to them, is there a reason NOT to sell my portfolio now and buy it back the same day? In my corporate account, I always will pay a 25% tax, whether I'm retired or not.

Q: Hi 5i Team,
I would like to take some money out of a savings account and have it accumulate dividends in my TFSA over a 5 year time period (I will need it at that time). I was wondering in the income portfolio, which of the ETFs/stocks would be the least volatile or the smallest of price movement that pays a good dividend over this amount of time?
Thank you,
Andrew
