Q: I hold HBF in a non registered account 5%. Based on total return I’m barely above water. It’s good for income , 7%, . I’ve been investing mainly in quality dividend stocks and have done quite well on dividend income and growth. Mainly investing in CO’s that have a history of increasing dividends, aristocratic family. This is the only etf in the portfolio. Any suggestions as to a replacement?

Q: What triggers today's rather substantial drop in NFI out of the blue?

In late February my CIBC daily TA report warned that NFI could drop down to the $26.75 to $28.25 level in about a month or so. Do you have any other TA reports to support that may be this is where this name is heading? Thanks.

Q: Concerned that blocks of shares in 100,000-150,000 chunks are being slowly fed into the market as though someone is slowly selling a huge position or is trying to keep a cap on any upward demand on the stock. Any idea what is going on and why?

Q: If one reviews the news releases of AMRN there is a litany of releases regarding numerous class action law suits emanating from a number of different law firms. Can you enlighten me as to why there are so many suits and so many law firms involved. Thanks for your great service.

Q: I have been investigating ESPORTS and some numbers are incredible. This seems to be another disruptive force poised for growth. The Patriots owner has just bought a team and even the Olympics are looking at it.
I see three ETF’s for esports. GAMR. Fidelity,79 holdings $95m AUM; ESPO. Vaneck, 25 holdings $13m AUM; NERD Quaterhill small new 25 holdings.
I am looking at a small position through my TFSA of 1.5 % of my total portfolio including RSP and cash accounts. Also considering adding 5% ( of the 1.5%) of TSGI ( their future is online sports gambling, not no/ slow grow poker) to round the theme.
What do you know of this industry? Would you recommend another approach? Any specific recommendations? Thanks. Derek
