Q: I hope you all had a great holiday. This is for when you get a chance.
I am planning trigger a loss by selling DG to help offset all the capital gains that I will have in 2024. Wanting to replace it with WMT, Cost, L, MRU or EMP.A. Looking for net return. Your thoughts please.

Q: I am currently in the negative on T, AMZN, TTD, TCN, NVEI, CPRX, ATZ, ENGH, LSPD, ABNB, WELL, BEP.UN, ROKU, ILMN, SE, PINS, and ZM. Q: Morning 5i;
If you have for an example $50K in a PSA or HISA account and you have that same amount on the 30th of the month ie x-dividend date you will get the full amount of the interest payment the next month a few days later . My question is if you had of taken out say $5k after the first two weeks of the month say the 15th , do you receive any interest payment on that $5k for the first 15 days that it was in the account OR do you only receive an interest payment based on whats in the account on the 3oth ?

Q: I sold TRP for tax loss selling and used ENB for proxy as you recommended.
I am seeing that TRP is rising much faster than ENB.
Is there any reason for this disproportional rise of TRP vs ENB .

Q: Peter; I’ve gone over your previous answers on AA and obviously it’s not your fav- but I’m just looking at the 5 year chart and see it maybe bottomed- 5 year high up in the $90’s - won’t it participate with a declining USD ? Your thoughts please. Just a small flyer .

Q: Is it true that all semis essentially come from Taiwan (almost as dumb as nearly all North American oil refinery is done in Texas))?

Q: It seems like everyone is positive on TD's future prospects. Yet no one mentions the potential monetary fines that could be levied against TD associated with money laundering. Why is that? Everyone appears to be very complacent about the probe over anti-money laundering. If the fines were substantial, could TD shares not take a hit? Your comments would be appreciated.
