What are your top 12 more conservative or dividend-generating US stocks to buy in an RRSP for a 3-5 year hold?

Q: Lately, these 3 stocks have performed well (exceptionally well). Sometimes it is said, "let your winners run" or "don't be afraid of new highs", however I wonder if they are becoming overvalued or extended beyond what is appropriate. Do you think P/Es of AXON @ 199; SPOT @ 129; or NFLX @ 63 show they are overvalued and it is time to sell? If you think otherwise please explain why they continue good investments and should continue to be held. Many thanks for your excellent service.

Q: I've recently come across this ETF on the NEO exchange. It has a collection of US stocks, boasts a 35% annual return, and has an unusually high MER. Could you give me your opinion on it, please? It's not listed on your site.

Q: On semi-conductor chips, I already own NVDA (since 2023). Considering adding another with your help.
I really don't see chip demand letting up anytime soon (Ai, robotics, autonomous vehicles, cellphones, IoT, etc).
With TSMC opening mfg plants in Arizona, maybe some of the geopolitical risk is tempered now.
Is QComm the dark horse?

Q: BN is sitting at 7.5%, AXON - BKNG are 5% and the rest are 3% positions totaling approx. 83% of my stock assets. I have some 1-2% positions in my cash account (GSY, ATZ, PRL, CLBT, HPS.a, BNS,SU, TMDX, TVK and CNQ. I'm heavy tech, financials and industrials going into H2 2025. Would you add to, remove or change anything is this was your account (assuming you're 52 and plan to retire in 8 years). Not looking for a person allocation but rather if it was you, what might you be looking to adjust, if anything. Note I have no utilities currently. Thanks and have a great weekend.

Q: I have held Telus for 10+ years and have been fine with the results but for the last year or so I have been wondering if they could be in risk of someone providing a product to compete with them for cell and internet coverage over satellite. I am aware of a few products for internet over satellite now. I read an article about perhaps Apple of going this route for their cell phones. With the recent announcement of the increased spend for Telus how likely do you see them in the position of shrinking revenue and earnings. Has the risk of the company increased.

Q: I have had a nice run over the last 5 owning 5 of the mag 7 stocks. I have a small % of the portfolio dedicate to canadian teck. I am looking at Appel's potential headwinds with the current US administration position on trade and thinking of selling 1/2 my position and adding DSG as a replacement for a long term hold. does this make any sense to you guys?

Q: Hello 5i,

GOOGL is often first on the list to buy long-term. With AI spreading out the base for every day questions that GOOGL once dominated, USA gov't witch hunt, and changes at Apple, does this change your view on retaining a full position of GOOGL?

Q: May I have your opinion of Amazon and Apple’s earnings this quarter and future outlook please.

Not sure this really applies to these two, but I’ve heard that the tariffs won’t truly impact companies’ earnings until next quarter (with some companies stockpiling 3-6 months worth of inventory to try to ride this out and customers doing the same). Mind you, we could wake up tomorrow and everything has changed again.

Q: My mag7 holdings have only really consisted of GOOG and NVDA, is this good enough? Seeing MSFT and META with strong earnings, should I diversity more into the other holdings? Q: We are down about 15% from the peak of the S&P 500. I have about 5% of my portfolio in USD cash to deploy. Would you advise going a fifth of my cash for every 3% further fall in the S&P 500? I have enough Google and Meta, but was looking at JPM and Apple. Any other US names you can suggest?

Most of the MAG7's charts show a "Death Cross" pattern. Please rank which would be the most attractive to purchase for a 5+ year hold. Your answer can also include other companies that have exhibited this pattern. Looking for big caps, mostly US. Thx.

Q: Apple is right in the middle of the tariff wars from many angles and moving manufacturing the US would be costly. I’ve always considered it but and hold stock. Given its significant declines, along with the other mag 7, would you consider it a hold or with high risk time to sell?
