Q: Hi

My partner has funds to invest in a TFSA for a 3–5+-year hold starting now. Can you please suggest several diversified ETFs that would be worth considering both USD and CAD hedged that are likely to see growth, including any mid-cap ETFs to consider. Please also suggest any bond ETFs to consider providing balance.

Thank you for the great service!

Q: Hello 5i
I currently own CSU LMN TOI SHOP VHI (which I consider tech'ish).
Do you see a compelling reason to add any of the other tech holding from the 5i balanced or growth portfolios? Would you avoid the concentration of the CSU family in favour of others?

Q: Hi Team,
I hold the following stocks in my TFSA with the indicating weightings within the TFSA. BN (17.5%), HPS.A (6.4%), LMN (18.6%), META (26.3%), SHOP (13.9%), TTD (16.9%). I am looking for advice for what stock I should add for my 2025 contribution. Could I please have your 3 "best" ideas to add to my TFSA ranked in order. I am looking for something solid with high potential (multi bagger potential) with solid management. Another NVDA would be nice (not asking to much here..lol). Time frame would be 10yrs plus ( I am 45 aiming for the dream of freedom 55).

Thanks,
Shane.

Q: Hi, I have these two stocks in my rrif account. Thinking of selling my two losers DIR and TELUS, and putting it in ZMI.
DIR and TELUS don’t seem to be doing much, while ZMI has US holdings, is steadily increasing in price with a good dividend.
This would be for a 5+ year period.. your thoughts please.

Q: I am a retired senior in his mid 70s and looking for monthly dividend income. I am looking for your opinion on this particular ETF to see if it would fit the bill. The etf I am looking for would have to be low to med risk and carry a descent monthly dividend, and have low fees. One of my concerns with this etf is diversification as it appears to only hold 20 stocks. Your opinion on this etf or any other one that would fit the bill would be appreciated. Thank you.

Q: I'm over allocated in Financials at 23%. Recognizing BN represents a diversified holding and Visa could be considered Consumer. What changes would you make if this was your account. Most of the 1% holdings are in my unregistered accounts with BN, Visa, JPM, BAM are split RRSP/TSFA. Long term investments +10 years with a tilt to risk/growth. Retirement in 2035.

BN 11%
BAM 2%

JPM 2%
GSY 1.6%
PRL 1%
TD .8%
BNS .8%

Happy New Year and thanks for all the help in 2024!
