Q: What are you hearing, if anything, about other discounters dropping commission now that National Bank is offering zero commission trades?

I'd hate to go thru the hassle of transferring my account then have my existing broker change. Right now I'm with BMO and Questrade.

Q: I am not sure how much growth SHOP has in its future. If it can grow to $3000 a share and there are not many companies that have a share price that high then it would equate to a 50% share price growth.
If one was to sell SHOP are there other companies that have a higher growth percentage potential. Appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

Q: Hi 5i - what is your take on today's press release from VERY? The announcement about the revenue increase seems fine, but it appears the market is not pleased with the individual loans that the company has made to its executives (despite a 9% interest rate? Why would the CEO borrow at such a high rate when he could presumably find cheaper money elsewhere, from a bank for example).

Q: I was wondering if you could comment on the latest earnings of Hive. To me it looked like it was better than Mara and HUT. Also two new facilities also should be commissioned soon. Should be able to increase their mining?

Q: Hi 5i,

Can I get your initial thoughts about the Purpose Longevity Pension Fund?
I am age 63 and I think it might be like a reasonable bond substitute in my RRSP.
Do you think the targeted 6.1% is sustainable?
Why haven't the big banks like TD which have a lot of mutual funds offered this product?
If one doesn't need the income is it better to invest in a balance ETF?
