Q: I am preparing tax documents for 2021. Several times last year you answered questions about TOI shares that were "gifted" to owners of CSU. You said the TOI shares were costed at CAD$0.00015641/share. Was there any change in value after that date?
Q: did this company do a stock split today
Q: Cramer says oil stocks have spiked and it's time to trim. Eric Nuttall says more room to run with the up coming travel demand.
Are they both right with different time frames ?
Are there any stocks that are not fully reflecting over $80 oil.
Knowing oil is a moving target.

Q: Context: Sold CNQ after a long run up. Funds now to deploy into a locked in RSP about to be unlocked into an income stream. Currently have all blue chip dividend payers and am looking to offset risk by initiating a bond position. Looking for:
-CDN domiciled etf with NA and/or Global focus
-3% minimum yield
-High grade but willing to accept corporates for yield
-Prefer shorter term to maturity, to match future rate increases
-If not CDN domiciled, willing to look at US and willing to look at more than one to match criteria
Thank you!

Q: GLD is one of the ticker/companies that holds physical gold in the USA, are there any companies or units that do this in Canada? If there are one or more in Canada would you recommend say a 5% weight at this time? Would you hold physical gold at this time or prefer gold miners or streamers?
Q: thoughts on the 2 companies. thanks
Q: Martello shares have settled into the 5 cent range with 321 million shares outstanding for a capitalization of $16 million. Could you please offer your interpretation of the recently reported financial results, the financial means available on the books to fuel the day-to-day operations of the company, and whether the company has the means to be a going concern? Also at what rate are new shares issued on an annual basis (as compensation or any purpose) to dilute existing shareholders? Thanks from an appreciative member.
Q: Could you please offer your interpretation of the just announced financial results from Lion Electric, the business outlook conveyed, and any headwinds/ tailwinds looking forward that flag your attention? What is your read on the relatively high short interest on the stock, and their success in building a factory and Experience Centre’s to present their electric school buses and their electric trucks to customers in order to fill their order book (and factory)? Thanks from an appreciative member.

Q: Hi 5i,
My question concerns CCL. I bought in 2017 just before the 5-1 share split. I am now underwater , not counting dividends for what is approaching a five year hold. I do not dislike the Company, however am concerned that I am holding onto dead weight. While I realize the Company had tremendous growth leading up to the split, it seems that it is now rangebound. Can you offer any reassurance that this phase is consolidation and that there is more growth on the way?

Q: I have a been holding PAAS for about a year now. Down ~25% (paid $37.50 per share). What will it take to get this moving higher and do you see any upside in the next 18-24 months ?
Q: In response to a question from Grant on Feb 24 you said "...we think GOOG is one of the easier stocks to buy right now" (re initiating a full position). 25 year-old looking to contribute $6000 to a TFSA, long-term time horizon. Given GOOG is currently trading at around $2700USD (approx $3500CAD) and with only $6k to work with, what do you think of using the CDR alternative (GOOG.NE at about $23CAD) instead, if looking to invest as much as possible of the $6k into GOOG? Was also considering BAM.A (already has some in the portfolio). I know they're both good companies but which of the two would you side with long-term if only choosing one? Thanks.
Q: Bit surprised that Sabina (SBB) is still depressed despite the steady increase in gold prices. What is you long term outlook for Sabina and what will it take to get the stock price moving up ? Or should I just accept my losses and move on ?
Q: Hello 5i Team.. I've had nice run on POW and it still has a great dividend (5%)but it seems to be wavering. I also own SLF and wonder if you might recommend trading my POW into SLF Regards Gary
