Q: A recent guest on Market Call stated that while we have been in a dis-inflationary cycle for decades, we are now in a re-inflationary period which could go on for a long time. This means interest rates continuing to rise in steps over perhaps several years. First, could you comment on this view. I would like to hear your ideas about the direction of near term interest rates, as well as long term. I know that this is a predictive type of question but I highly value your opinions. Secondly if we are indeed in for a long stretch of gradually rising interest rates could this possibly mean a long term decline of growth stocks, or at least the ones that are not yet profitable. Thank you.

Q: THESE ETFS HAVE VERY ATTRACTIVE DIVIDENDS DO YOU THINK THE DIVIDEND IS REASONABLY SAFE,
Q: A year ago BNS was $88.xx a share, it is now $68. CWB was $36.xx a share and is now $26.xx. Banks seem to be failing as far as investments. One gets 4.5 to 6% dividends but loses 20-30% on valuation in a year. Can we hope for a brighter future in 2023, or are there better choices for stocks the financial sector
Q: would appreciate your current thoughts on YGR. is there a name you would prefer rather than YGR?

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide an update on the fundamentals of Questor including cash reserves, level of debt, earnings etc. With this in mind, is it strong enough to weather a continued market slump in growth stocks. Does it have the potential for growth. Also can you provide your opinion on management, its background experience and its holdings of common shares. Has there been any significant insider trading lately. If I decide to finally move on from this stock do you have any suggestions for a replacement growth stock, not necessarily in the same sector.
Q: Current thoughts on SDE, where does it rank in your favorites in the sector?
Q: What is your opinion on JEPI and JEPQ for a retired income investor.
Q: Hi team ,
Sq share price continues to struggle in this environment. With a long term horizon is it still worth holding on to this name for better days in tech stock performance? When I had first purchased it I envisioned great growth ahead with its pos and cashless payments systems. Is the story still in tact or are there better names to own at this point? Particularly inside of a tfsa?

Q: I took the big dividend from ECN - 15k bought three 5K positions VHI (-20%) STC (-80%) & CTS (-50%) to diversify the growth portfolio in my TSFA, losing percentages are app. are these positions worth keeping? My other thought is to sell and put the money back into ECN where the management has a proven track record of managing the risk and creating value for longer term shareholders

Q: I have small positions in the above noted companies held in my TFSA. They are all underwater and so there is no tax advantage to selling these losers. I would like to sell some or all of them and either to one or more of them or move on to some small techs that have more prospects. Can you let me know which of these you would sell hold or add to. Thanks for your ongoing great advise.
Q: I have held ALA for many years, I have some cash to deploy in the account holding ALA. All my other holdings in that account have bounced to start 2023 with ALA the glaring exception who lost steam and gave back its gains. Good time to buy the dip on ALA and worst case I get the 3.7% div for the rest of 2023? You don't seem to be huge fans based on replies to other ALA questions. I don't see a huge downside if markets continue to be shaky and with the interest rate hike cycle hopefully nearing an end.
Q: Would AT, CTS, VHI be a hold or would you consolidate one or more into the other. Which one has the most potential upside?
