Q: Thinking about taking a position in one of the following companies, given studios can now own movie theatres after Paramount Consent Decrees of 1948 have been removed. I have a 3-5 year horizon and think people will eventually come out of hiding ; ) Also, if there is another company (entertainment) that has been recently beaten-up that you prefer, please let me know.

Q: Hi Peter and Ryan.
I have been watching RVLV for a while now. I initiated a small position a few days ago. ER today after market seems really good. I understand you did not have a compelling story to hold the stock for a long term. Did ER today change your view on that?

Thank you,
Yiwen

Q: These etf's have been producing real good returns. Is this replacing the old oil that is feeling that the best is over and now we are going into a new energy field for the future, faster than we thought. These seem like a good way to get a large exposure to new and fast growing company's. Good Day.

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, I would like to buy AAPL for my TFSA, first of all can an American company be put into a TFSA and would the same rules apply to capital gains or losses, or what is different about an American company in a TFSA. Secondly, they are about to split is it better to buy before or after a split. Thanks

Q: Hi,
Both of these companies have recently announced stock splits. AAPL for the umpteenth time, TSLA I think for the first time. While I understand the logic behind a stock split, I am curious as to the usual market reaction. With our current electronic trading, does a split still have weight in attracting new buyers because the price point has decreased? I you were to initiate a new position on either of these companies would you do so in advance of the split, or wait until after? Is there a 'usual' response that occurs - such as just before a split prices rise, or they fall just after a split, etc. Any thoughts on this would be most welcome! If you were to start a new position how would you rank these two companies against adding to a current position in MSFT? Thanks, as always, for your hard work and insight.

Q: DHT reported and raised their dividend. Current yield 35%! And SP is only up 3% at the moment after reporting after close yesterday... They paid off a bunch of debt early in Q2, and have many of their ships on charters rather than spot. I'm long on them, and I'm not seeing a reason I shouldn't buy more. What are your thoughts?

Q: Hello
what is your opinion on CNC? do you think that there is room for growth US health care stocks and would you recommend any other? Also, MSFT is down today. Do you think there is more room for it to go down with the upside to value stocks or do you see this as a good time to buy?
thanks for all your help

Q: I’ve owned Blackline for a few months, and it had done well going from high 60’s to low 90’s and then fell off a click down to low 70’s. I can’t seem to find much news. Was it earnings related, outlook change in leadership? Do you think it is a good stock to hold, correction is overdone?
