Q: I have 5.5% of my net worth invested in FNV, CNQ, and SU. Is this good enough to participate in the coming "commodity super cycle" that may, or may not, happen? Also own lots of pipelines which probably would also benefit. Thanks Ron

Q: One has to wonder if the proposed sale of some stores by Couche-Tard isn't setting them up financially to purchase the convenience stores from Suncor. This has been noted here before.

I hold both so am watching closely.

Q: It appears oil prices are headed up this year but shares of companies like Exxon Mobil Corp. and Royal Dutch Shell and Suncor among others have lagged behind the oil market itself, and stock prices haven’t returned to pre-pandemic levels for a number of reasons that have nothing to do with the price of oil. Is there any other investment vehicle that would better reflect the rise in oil prices? How about OIL on the nyse?

Q: Hi 5i
Today on BNN it was suggested that SU has had a large investor selling in the past week and perhaps that has now finished and this is contributing to SU share price recovery today. Do you know who the seller might have been? Also, heard a rumour that CNQ and SU are looking to merge. Have you heard this and would you consider it to be good for both companies? Thanks

Q: I own these 2 majors and I'm up 15-20% on them so far. My question is that many people are now talking about value stocks and that energy and financials are good plays. It seems like a lot of people believe energy might be entering a multi year bull market (Eric Nutall!). I've traded these over the last few years since they always seem to pop and then go back down with political climate or economic sensitivity. How do you know if this time is different? I don't want to sell too early, but I don't think $100 oil is coming back.

Thanks,
Jason

Q: Would it make sense for both Couche Tard and Suncor to strike a deal for the former to take over the latter's retail gas stations? Would such a deal unlock value for Suncor, and at the same time be a meaningful addition to Couche Tard?

Q: There is a lot of talk about a shift to value stocks. What is and how do I identify a value stock and can you give some examples of current opportunities in your portfolios and generally please?

Q: Can you give us your concensus on Suncor's quarter and outlook?
I have several hundred shares that average close to the present price.
Would you hold, sell a portion, or dump them all?
My feeling is with time they may climb back some, but it's risky with all the rush to green companies whether they've proven themselves or not.

thanks, Paul

Q: Hi 5i,

Please kindly comments the above stocks (FTS, SU, ENB, KEY) in oil related sector, I am thinking to invest for 1-2 years, kindly to rank the risk and potential in coming future. Should I keep all of them or may suggest to take off one? Perhaps I should consider FTS more on utility rather than oil related? Thanks for your advise.

Q: Hi 5i,

Currently I have owned the above stocks SU and ENB for around half years.
I have heard the news regarding for the cancellation the Keystone XL pipeline from Biden's campaign. Actually, do you think there will be a negative impact for the above stocks in coming future? Any possible negative impact in coming future for the oil sector if the new US government, would you please kindly advise. Many thanks.

Thanks & Regards.
