Q: I saw an interview with TomLee who said the cash position of the company makes it profitable no matter how much Bitcoin drops. Does this make sense?

Q: Good morning 5i
It is good to see the software companies at least remaining stable and some rising today. But, I have been wondering whether we have to rethink our devotion to CSU and other family members. With this recent fear you have said yourself that AI can actually help software companies and because of the important services they offer, they will not be going away soon.
But, you also said that although they are not going away today maybe some time in the future AI may succeed in replicating their services. So, the question is whether we should start thinking of CSU etc, as no longer the stalwarts that we have always believed them to be. We may begin to think that, although not today, but their days may be numbered and we need to get out before that happens. Wondering how you see this aspect?
Thanks for the great service

Q: Hi, Sorry there are lot of companies listed but in summary this is three part question:
1. I have BAM2%,BN9%,BEP5%. I was thinking of putting new money to KKR or BX or APO. Should i add new money to existing positions or to new positions. Which one and approx. price please.
2. All the listed are in red in various taxable and registered accounts. Which one is good candidate for new money , which one would be sell and hold.
3. ISRG is at 1.5%. Should i go to 5% in one shot or go slowly or just hold on . This is in taxable account.
Thanks

Q: Good Day,
I have just started adding in to my cash account, which now has me considering tax ramifications. Since I am not looking to pay MORE taxes, what are some names you would suggest for a longer term hold with no or really low dividends and a long runway for growth. I have listed PNG GRID GRGD VNP and CLS. Would you add a couple other names and rank them with a comment on their preospects.
Thanks!
James

Premium Income Corporation Preferred Shares (PIC.PR.A $16.54)
Q: Could I get your views on the preferred share part of a couple split share funds, in particular the two above, which recently had new issues. I am not interested in the equity side of the split shares, but the recent preferreds have caught my attention, admittedly from the relatively high yield and the underlying investment being in solid companies. How consistent/sustainable are these dividends and what are the downsides to these stocks?
Thank-you
Thank-you

Q: WSP is down quite a bit this morning. I don't see any news. Any idea what's happening?
Q: Now we have large cap companies taken down 10 to 20% if earnings top but guidance is not good enough for the analyst, i do not think it is the retail investor causing these drops, so what is the major concern of the big boys that they want out of these stocks, i know that they have made money on them but where does the cash go, are they just nervous like the little guy and want out.
Thanks Again
Thanks Again
Q: I noticed there has been no recent question on SUNC. I hung on to it following the PKI takeover and recently added a bit for income. They have now announced a dividend that is close to 7%. My question, is it likely secure, if such a thing exists in this day?
Q: On the dip, where does Google look compelling. We listened to your advice a couple years ago and would like to add as we see this as a pillar in our holdings.
Q: What in the fundamentals contributed to the big drop in ENS today? Would you be a buyer of ENS, based on these quarterly results?
Q: GOOG What do you think of their latest quarter why the big drop in futures trading.
Q: Your response to Denise’s inquiry on crypto was very unsettling to me,
I quote a snippet of your answer: ‘if crypto recovers’
Can you please expand on this? What is your outlooks on bitcoin and ether? Do you estimate there is a market probability that we are entering a long winter, or do you see this as portending something worse; a total value destruction?
Please be as sobering as you feel it necessary.
Thank you.

Q: Good morning Peter and Team,
Something I've always wondered: Do negative news items about the founder of a particular company — Microsoft in this case — have any effect on the performance of the stock? Last night on the news, I heard Melinda Gates talk about her ex-husband's apparent relationship with Epstein, certainly not helping Bill's image.
Or are these stories just “noise” and should be ignored?

Q: Hello Team 5i,
Apart from the immense spending MSFT is continuing to undertake to beef-up their Azure capabilities can you comment :
(1).On the other reasons the shares have been severely punished since coming up with what appeared to be some reasonably good earnings for the past quarter? Also can you please explain :
(2). Why less than a few months ago MSFT renegotiation of their new terms with Open AI was heralded as a very good move (their stock value popped up the same day close to a new maximum) whereas the same relationship now seems to have become detrimental to MSFT, maybe even compounding their precipitous share price drop (from 550 to 410) among other reasons?. As always thank for sharing your always very good insights. Adel

Q: Hello, I have a small position in ZST . I like to add more bonds for safety and income .
I have been looking at : XSB and XBB and ZAG as they hold Government bonds . Can I assume that by holding one of these to diversify or a combination will do the trick !! ?
Thank you
Carlo
