Q: Greetings 5i,

LRCX reported recently. What are your thoughts on these numbers and the company in general? Who are thier main competitors? What will be the main drivers of growth for the next few quarters and are they positioned correctly to take advantage of any tailwinds from global AI demand expansion.

Q: Greetings 5i
I have a couple of follow up questions to yesterday’s question regarding a US replacement for vbal. You suggested a combination of spy and a bond fund. What would be an appropriate bond etf for this strategy? I imagine you would be indifferent between spy and voo for stocks? Is there any way to calculate the tax hit in a non registered account. Currently I have non dividend paying stocks in this account to avoid withholding tax. But, i guess if you follow this strategy you have to take the tax bite as part of the package.

Q: I am looking for a silver explorer with an established resource about to go into production. I would also like it to be a large resource and in a safe jurisdiction . A tough question I know but a lot of the silver companies seem to have problems other than PAAS which I already own ,just looking for something with a little more torque.

Q: Dear Peter et al:

PLTR earnings report is May 6th, FTNT on May 02 and SMCI tomorrow!! (30th April)


This is a general question and not personal!

If some had a small position and plan to add more to these three stocks, Worth writing Cash secured puts? So close to Earnings date?

IF you were to write a cash secured put what would be the price that you would choose to write for these three, including SMCI.
(Of course not guaranteed that the order will fill!)

Q: Hi 5i,

I am slowly converting my TSFA to income. A model holding for me is BNS-T (Bank of Nova Scotia). A +6% dividend and good growth potential. Thank you 5i for the recommendation. Can you. recommend, "as of the prices today" 3-4 more companies that you would add. I do have access to your income portfolio of course, but I am seeking good entry positions for your current "fav's". Thank you.

Q: Would I be correct in saying that your recent answers are showing a preference for VRT rather than SMCI or ALAB? Can you rate each of the three on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being a strong buy) and at what level you would buy each? Also, if you have in fact shifted slightly away from SMCI and to VRT as a fav, what makes it more desirable?

Q: After a strong quarter the weakness seems strange in a strong market for tech. Was there something in the conferance call? I realize it's only a few trading days, but I'm a relatively new shareholder and dont like that ugly red color on my screen when most everything else in tech is a beautiful green color.
