Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Hopefully, your research will recognise the first 3 NASDAQ listings. Based on the continuing manic disorder in the Land of the Free & the Home of the Brave I am planning on certain substantial changes in our US investments. The major tax changes certainly provide new opportunities & I would appreciate your evaluation & assessment of the 4 individual choices I am considering. Thank you.

Q: BANK OF MONTREAL 1.81% NON CUM 5YR RT RST CL B PFD SER 25
BMO.PR.Q:
Thank you for your response to my question on the above. Would you kindly clarify: in August 2021, does the issuer BMO simply roll the investor over into something like this without the explicit written consent of the investor? If the issuer gives you back your cash, does the issuer give you back the face value it originally sold at (in this case C$25) or does the issuer simply give you the current market value if the then value is much lower? This was issued at C$25 and trades much lower.
Thank you for clarification. I am lost on these rate-reset animals. (Also , would your office support please reinstate the facility whereby you used to send me an email that my question is answered? Thanks.

Q: In late January Tim Cook came to Toronto for his first ever visit to Canada as Apple CEO to advocate for a focus on coding education for children. He also sat in the lower bowl of the ACC, not a box, to watch the Leafs in a very low key appearance. As part of his trip I understand he also visited the Shopify offices. Why would such a high profile individual make such an under the radar stop at 'Canada's tech darling'? Is there anything to read into here? Your thoughts please.

How do rate reset like THIS horrible thing work? How does value react to interest rate changes? Specifically, is the above security, which is down substantially, worth keeping now that it has already lost much value? OR are the funds better deployed elsewhere if one is conservative and looking for Canadian dollar income, preferably dividend?

Q: My portfolio is weak in the medical/healthcare space. I have CSH/SIA (full position when combined), NVO (US, 1/2 position), SIS ( 1/2 position) and GUD (1/4 position). I would like to increase exposure in the sector by the equivalent of about 2 positions. Would you recommend I add to existing stocks or are there others you think I should consider (either Cdn or US is fine for this sector)?

My situation: Retiring in about 2 years and living off investment income. Fortunately we have enough savings that unless I am either foolish or really unlucky, I expect to be "OK".

Thanks for your help. I am doing much better with returns since I started my subscription to your service.
