Q: Is THOR suitable for a conservative VALUE investor interested in SOME sales and dividend growth? Is debt manageable and is cash flow good? Financial data and ratios point to good value? I was puzzled to see share price down 2.5% today on no news--- one possible reason is aluminum tariffs (?). Tariffs I thought were on hold for now, except for China imports. But Thor would not have to rely on China for aluminum? Do you see the economy reasonably strong for non-essential products like those of Thor?
Q: comment re; G &M watchlist. I am able to access the new "improved" watchlist. You do need to log in again with your password, possibly forgotten, but I agree that the "improved"version is definitely much less useful than the old one. They are trying to get all of us who're using free tools to subscribe.
Q: Hello 5i,
With K92 mining now a producer, how does its valuation compare with other similarly sized producers? Should we expect growth in the coming year? (even if gold stays in the same price range) Thanks!
Q: I have been reasonably successful this year by carrying a large porfolio of stocks, no 1 very large position just because I THINK THE STOCK looks favourable Do you have sort of a rule of them as to when you might exit, subtract, or add to? thanx PS DO YOU EVER HAVE ANY LEARNING SEMINARS?
Q: Gentlemen,
I want to report a bug on questions, as another subscriber reported the same problem. I paid attention to check if my question is public.
2 of my questions were not private but published as private.
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i thanks for the great service. I am thinking about a long term play on water and would like you opinion on some ways to play it? Some company suggestions would be nice and what do you think of this iShares etf?
Q: Income Portfolio: Of all the stocks in your income portfolio, which are the best buys right now, for a long term hold. And, are there others you also recommend?
Yields over 4% are preferred, and some dividend growth.
Q: I read in a previous post that you favored HPR and ZPR over CPD (Sept 18, 2017) because of the rate reset. I am currently adding to my fixed income and would it be a good strategy to add 50 / 50 ZPR and CPD for the preferred portion ?
(I also own a larger position in CBO).
Also, do you recommend adding a convertible bond etf (CVD or other) for diversification purposes ? Thank you for your comments.
Q: I'm confused about this stock. BMO Investorline shows it's undervalued, and has an estimated 17% EPS growth forecast. But, they also show a +10% increase in revenues, and a -74% decrease in EPS in 2017. And then there's their business model: "provides electricity, natural gas and solar products to residential and commercial customers through an innovative brand strategy and multi-channel marketing approach". Are these the people behind locking in unsuspecting customers in binding contracts that promise to lower their utility rates, but actually end up costing them more? Your comments on their business and financials would be appreciated.
What do you think about Spartans earnings and prospects. There is so much commentary about how this company has a great balance sheet, and the founders have made, and sold companies for large profits, and is a must own name in the energy space. Well.. I have owned for 3-4 years and am underwater. New reports have indicated that they have pulled out of a conference next month (speculation that there are in talks with other parties now to merge, and/or be bought). Eric N, who seems extremely knowledgeable to the energy markets, thinks it is a great play, and may think news/takeout is in store. What do you guys think!
