Q: Thoughts on this company. The performance looks to be a disaster. Has Rob become insulated from reality or does he see something we don’t? Living on the past and former reputation seems to have expired. Yet he pours millions more into it. Do you see anything you like with this company or would you sell and move on. It feels similar to Xebec.

Q: Gold continues to March ahead for obvious reasons. McEwen mining continues to underperform. We are living through one of the most bullish catalysts for gold producers; yet Mux seems to have lost its way. What will it take to turn this around? Even Rob’s reputation as a shareholder value producer seems to be at risk, Is Mux heading for a further disaster.

Q: What do you think of MUX after another desperate move to raise $50 million US near the low of the year, is it safe to hold on to this for a few years?? It appears Rob McEwen has lost all credibility , he has continued to tell us that all the operational problems have been corrected but we continue to get unpleasant negative surprises over and over..
Thanks,
George

Q: What is your view of MUX today, it has not gone up with the recent rally in Gold and Silver. It's still down 24% ( at $2.45) from last year's high of $3.20, while most gold stocks have hit new highs and many have doubled. What do you think is the reason it has not participated in the rally.
Thanks,
George

Q: What is your take on the suspension of dividend, does this change your generally positive long term outlook? Looking to balance Gold exposure in my portfolio due to the strong run of KL, do you see MUX as a viable option? What are your thoughts on management, debt and safety of their operating jurisdictions?

Q: Junior Golds

I accumulated these Jr Golds prior/during the 2016 Gold run up. Obviously, too many. I would like to reduce the Jr Gold Cos. to 2 or 3. I do hold KL and FNV also. GRP as you know is Silver.
How would you rank these on a risk/reward spectrum?

Secondly, how does this current gold run 'FEEL' to you?

Thanks!

Q: Now down to these two mainstream gold companies. I think that perhaps that it might be a good idea to sell mux and use the proceeds to buy more KL. The later has been very profitable for me and unfortunately cannot say the same for mux. In that category would you consider buying ALS altius as an. option or something else. Thank you as always. Wishing you all the very peaceful and blessed Christmas and New Year.

Q: Good morning,
MUX announced new financing last night,it consists of a US $15,000,000 bought deal private place offering of 6,634,000 flow-through common shares priced at US$2.26. This offering price is at a 26% premium to the closing price yesterday of US $1.81. The stock price has been below US$2.26 for 6 weeks, why would anyone pay a 26% premium when they could have bought all the stocks they wanted at a lower price in the open market the last 6 weeks?
Thanks, George

Q: It appears that MUX is turning the corner and production will increase significantly in 2018 and 2019. There is about 50 million shares short . MUX also raised $50 million in a private transaction without having to go the marked to issue more shares.
How will this play out for the shorts?
Thanks,
George
