Q: Setting up an 40K RRSP with a 6 to 10 year time frame. What is your opinion and/or alternatives to ZEB, VXC, ZDV, XBB in equal proportions.

Q: I recently purchased NTR:US within my USA TFSA. With a 15% withholding tax applicable, I thought it still remained beneficial though with accruing the USD within the account.
Not sure this is the most beneficial strategy long term, and I am thinking of transferring the security to CAD TFSA instead. What you recommend?

Q: Hi folks, waited for tax loss season and bought full position in Knight for my TFSA . What significance, if any, does..."Signed a new exclusive distribution agreement with Gilead for the continued commercialization of AmBisome in Brazil, effective Jan. 1, 2021.", have for Knight. The potentials with Knight seem pretty good...even if they work at a snail's pace. Overall opinion on company into 2021. Thanks as always, jb Piedmont QC

Q: Hi, currently holding VGG, VEE, and XEF. Since the CAD$ has rallied against the USD, would you switch these cad etfs to US etfs now for the lower MER going forward? How big of a difference would this make in the the long term, say 20 years assuming all other variables stay the same? These are long term core holdings for me. All in RSP and only fees would be commission on the sale and of course one time FX conversion. What would be the best US etf to replace XEF and VEE? Thanks!

Q: I bought $10,000 of random stocks 2 years ago that have gone down 95% (ACB, NVCN, HVT, HEXO, LTV). The only reason I have not cut my losses yet is because they are all in my TFSA so I don’t want to lose that $9,500 of contribution room when I do sell the stocks. If you do recommend I sell them all anyways, which high growth potential stocks would you recommend for TFSA vs non-registered accounts? I know you can’t give personalized advice but hypothetically, how would you immediately invest $100,000 into a TFSA with the rest of the funds invested in a non-registered account that includes the following: high growth potential, all equities, and is the most tax efficient way to gain the Canadian and International market? I currently use my full RRSP contribution room for ITOT so I have enough US market in my growth portfolio.

Q: At BMO Investorline you need the help of an agent to journal DLR from Can to US. With wait times of well over an hour this can be quite frustrating. It took me 2 weeks to complete this transaction and exposed me to currency risk I didn't expect. Keep this in mind if you are considering this transaction and your broker is not answering the phones.

I have owned ADW.A since Jan 2017 at a purchase price of$10.50, It is now trading around $10.40.
How long should a person sit with an investment that does very little, especially a small cap which is supposed to have a little better growth.
Any thoughts on ADW.A would help.

What would the recommended holding time be? so far my general mistake has been to give up on small cap stocks too early during periods of lull..AT is a good example I quit too early and missed a 10 fold increase and now I am back in..TSLA is another great miss for me not a small cap though.. Q: My broker allows when buying or selling a stock to have it good for the day or to specify a good through date, like a week from when the order is placed. Me, I hesitate to specify a good through date as the price might dramatically change one way or the other and I would rather re-enter the order the next day,
Is there a reason(s) to change my view?

I have been sticking with ZM thinking it could only grow in the present environment, but it seems failing to redress. Being down nearly 30%, I wonder if I should just take my loss, buy more or just keep it. What would you do ? what are the perspective for ZM in the short term ? If I sell, what could I replace it ?
