Do you have a free trial for the Q&A? As a subscriber, I have found the questions asked and your responses to be useful.

I have an uncle, who dabbles, that could benefit from this and if he could spend a few days looking around, he'd likely see the utility in it.

Then I don't have to make up a sales pitch for it.

Q: Can I get a list of six good dividend paying stocks or ETF's that pay around 5%, that I can buy in my Canadian account but don't necessarily have to be Canadian. I am not concerned about sector but would like the dividend to be reasonably safe. Thanks.

Q: I understand that your recommended portfolio allocation is one-third Canadian, one-third US, and one-third International. Could you share a bit more about the reasoning behind this approach?

Specifically, is the one-third Canadian portion meant to help limit the amount of Canadian companies in one’s portfolio, essentially to protect against being overallocated in your home country?

Similarly, if someone was based in the European Union would you recommend one-third EU, one-third US, and one-third International?

Q: How can one explain the huge discrepency between those 2 stocks while it's the same company? One can argue that there is a tax efficiency by investing in BEPC but certainly not by this much. Is there a possibility that the difference might shring over time ? What am I missing?

Q: Good Afternoon;

Since late July Acadian has been in a steady downtrend that seems inconsistent with both the price trend for lumber and the latest Trump tariffs. I am trying to understand what is driving this downtrend, as some of their production (Maine) would not be subject to a tariff and lumber prices seem not to have "added" the tariff but absorbed it.

I own it as an income stock in a LIF. Aside from the drivers of the stock in the short term I am interested in dividend risk; is it or should it be a concern? Lastly, given the decline in price is there a trigger price you would be comfortable with to buy? I am considering adding at current yields.

Hi guys

I have followed Coloplast (Danish company I believe) for a very long time as a good safe, reliable health care play, with an interesting way to play the aging demographic trend. I notice also that it is near a 52 week low and has trended downward generally the last 5 years. Probably not a great chart.

And realizing you don't generally follow too closely European stocks, do you have any thoughts on the company, its products, whether it has a moat around its products (seem to be a bit sticky once people start to use them), and its current valuation? A buyor better stocks in the health care products area?
