Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide the names of any companies that have declared a first dividend over the past 6 to 12 months - U.S. or Canadian. This could include any that have re-instated a dividend. If the number of companies is large. please free to limit it to around ten..
Thanks.
Q: Saw a recent Q/A regarding water ETFs and you did not mention CWW. Owned this for around 8 years and up 88% not including small dividend and satisfied. Put it on chart with PHO and FIW and see it underperforms. Any need to switch?
Thank you
Steve
Q: Hi, Constellation Software stock has been in an uptrend and rising steadily to new highs, recently, without any significant resistance along the way. After a $200 pullback this week with no news, do you consider it a good opportunity to add to an existing position ? Thanks
Q: Which of these three stocks have the best potential for growth over the next year or two, disregarding any risks etc. I do realize it's a short time horizon, thanks?
Q: This question concerns the technology sector in a well-diversified Canadian portfolio (~30 holdings), focused slightly toward growth.
The current technology holdings are CSU, SHOP, DSG and KXS. With the exception of KXS, the holdings are all positive. We are considering replacing KXS with LMN.
For a long term hold, which of KXS and LMN would you prefer and why?
Q: Hello 5i research team, I will soon be liquidating a brokerage account containing shares in 18 companies, probably within 2 or 3 months. How would you suggest I proceed with the timing and pace of the sale? As soon as possible, gradually, according to the wishes of the heirs, or at the deadline, to take advantage of market exposure for longer? Should I rely on technical analysis to determine the timing of the sale? If so, which indicator (ma, rsi, macd, or others) and how often (daily, weekly or monthly)? Thank you for your collaboration, Eric
Q: Palantir reported its 4Q on Monday, Feb 5. Stock popped 30% on Tuesday. First profitable year, worldwide commercial revenue grew by 32% year over year more than government revenue which grew by 11% year over year, increased its revenue guidance for 2024, AI platform "continues to be unrelenting" as reported by CEO. Short interest % is low. P/E = 232, P/S = 17. Expensive and volatile stock since its IPO. What is your take on Palantir quarter? Is the 30% increase in stock price over-exuberant? What is the maximum percentage you would hold Palantir in your portfolio?
