Q: Please help me understand:
TD has announced a) share repurchase intention for 2022, and b) the Jan 31 2022 dividend DRIP shares will be issued from treasury.
These two would seem to be at odds with each other (despite the, presumably, much smaller quantum of the DRIP treasury shares relative to the repurchase plan)?

Q: My 20 year old grandson is about to step into the investing world. His plan is long term but his portfolio will be small to start. Can you suggest a starting point? I can teach him all the lessons you have taught me since 2013 but we just need a starting point.
Q: Oh BYD! BYD has been beaten up a bit lately. Are you still believer or is the pretty good run over...
Q: Finning has dropped a fair amount lately and down near 15% from where I purchased. I believe that the CEO announced a temporary leave for health reasons. Would you continue to hold FTT or is there another industrial sector client you'd suggest?
Q: Do you see AOS as a good long-term reopening play? are there companies in this sector that you prefer?
Thanks
Mike

Q: Hi 5i,
What is your opinion on Alimentation vs. Parkland? Over the last couple years I’ve held in the hopes it might turn out to be a ‘baby ATD.B’. Is this a case where an investor should pay up for the quality proven business?
Thank you!

Q: Would you prefer bj or cost. It seems bj stock is performing as well as cost but is far cheaper
Q: When I look at the long term chart for this ETF it seems since the pandemic began (and after that initial drop) that the the share price has been on a steeper upwards trajectory than it ever was historically? It also looks as if the volume has been a bit higher than before. Is there a simple explanation that is obvious to everyone but me? Is it a few of the top 10 underlying securities that are driving the whole behaviour, or has owning the ETF become that much more attractive in the face of single company risk since the pandemic began? I always appreciate your insight, thanks.
Q: Thoughts on CRM earnings and market's reaction?
Thanks Rick

Q: I have my RRSP with a full service broker - Canadian dollar & $US account - If I bought a stock on the TSE in canadian dollars and that stock pays it's dividends in $US - is it possible (to save any conversion fees) to have the dividends transferred to my $US RRSP? If YES - is there any cost of any kind to be expected?

Q: Hello,
The last question for SLQT dates back to August when it was trading just below $14. It's now trading around $9 and was recently near a 52-week low.
I believe you were favourably disposed to this company earlier this year.
I'm interested in hearing your current take on the company and whether it is now in your informed opinion more of a buy.
Thanks!
Marc.

Q: Hello. I missed results for Cubic which reported mid November. May I have your comments please? My questions seem to be identified as “private” which I do not intend. I check to ensure that the public box is checked???
