Q: Good Afternoon,

I’m typically a contrarian stock buyer. With the stock market at record levels right now, would you suggest wait for a pullback or do you have any stocks that I should consider buying? Thank you.

Q: I just become member today and trying to familiarize with your contents on website.
What portfolio should I consider for TFSA and for my RRSP. I really like your BE portfolio but there are total 25 holdings. Leaving aside portfolio consideration, what would be your opinion/suggestion for me to buy in BE today for my TFSA. If you could suggest at least 7 to 10 holdings as I have all my TFSA contribution in cash (all of my 67 K so far) in Investment account.

Q: Your recent report on KXS notes that the expected F2020 revenue growth is 11.1% and a CIBC report forecasts revenue growth of 17% in F2021. Both these estimates are below the expected F2019 revenue growth of 26% and lower than the 22.4% forecasted annual growth rate (to 2022) of the SaaS application market in supply chain management. In such a competitive market, forecasts of declines in revenue growth and forecasted growth which is lower than the market’s growth are not ideal signs and something to monitor. Have you picked up any explanations for the decline in forecasted revenue growth in F2020 and the overall choppiness of revenue growth?

Q: I have a 4.5-5% weighting in all of these and they represent my tech holdings. Any need in your opinion to sell any of them in light of world news? Might LSPD as an example feel the impact of fewer restaurant goers? Would you sell any of these based on fundamentals to replace with something you prefer more?

Q: Due to fortunate timing following some great advice (thanks 5I!!) combined with the recent market surge, we find ourselves overweight in Tech. With relatively equal weighting, which of these 7 companies (if any) would you consider selling? In what order?

Q: I started half positions in these company’s last week. Do you think it would be best to buy full positions now or wait for a little pullback?

Q: We have the following in our RESP: ABT, BNS, NFI, ENB, TRP, PIF, MX, and BEP.UN and ~$4,000 in cash. The grandkids are now 6 and 5. As you can see, no particular philosophy has been at work so far. What might you suggest adding to the mix? Is there anything that should be sold?

I'm wondering if I may ask 51R to do the same? If I was to canvas the 5iR Staff stock experts what would the majority agree on to be your best 5 stock ideas, give or take a few, for 2020? Q: My husband has some old capital losses that I think we should start to be using now in the event of any possible future rule changes. He has a 10 position unregistered account in which there are 3 equities with substantial gains from 125% to 1350%, i.e.: WSP, ENGH and CJT.
There are 2 equities with 50% and 70% gain, i.e. SYZ and WPM and 1 equity with 35% gain, i.e. KXS. The remaining 4 have small profit or loss, i.e. CAE, MCR, CCL.B, PBH.
Looking at selling WSP, ENGH, CJT, SYZ ,WPM and perhaps KXS to apply some of the old losses. What would you recommend to buy for replacement (a 1st and 2nd choice if you could) and would you move back into the original equity after 30 days or would you just stick with the replacement ? A dividend would be nice but not mandatory. Also, any thoughts on timing considerations or other issues ? We have diversified RIFs and TFSAs in addition to the above.
