Q: Hi folks,
I am looking to add 3 of CSU, AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL or VISA for some growth to my otherwise conservative RRSP portfolio. May I have your top 3 recommendations at this time that could add some "zip" to my RRSP account. Looking at a 10 year time frame.
Thanks,

Q: Hi team
awhile ago, someone did mention re: some of the top Canadian companies that has involvement in AI (artificial intelligence) that are top picks
the names of OTEX and KXS were mentioned; are they still the top picks in this sector in Canadian stocks? could you add 1-2 more names in the order that you would recommend? I got both OTEX and KXS already in my portfolio; thanks
Michael

Q: With the possible introduction of the FEDNOW digital currency could you see something like Bitcoin and therefore the crypto-mining company MARA having some more room for upside. Mara has had a great run YTD but could this still be an okay place to take a small nibble?
Thanks, Lesley
Thanks, Lesley
Q: Hi,
Is there any other info available other than the short PR regarding the company’s bid to buy CSV? And your opinion on the possible purchase. Seems like a big bite.

Q: I hold the listed equities/ ETF in my 14 year old grandson's RESP account. Given thee current environment what changes would you make in preparation for the next 4 years? I consider HFR is cash available.
Woule you consider adding some US listings for diversification? Given some current thinking regarding the US dollar would it be wiser to add Cdn listed ETFs of US companies? . What would be the tax implications of adding US listed companies that do not pay a dividend? Any paperwork?
Thanks very much. Take whatever credits are needed.
are there any stocks in the account that you would replace?,
Mike

Q: For a TFSA if you could pick a few value stocks that have good balance sheets and maybe provide a “margin of safety” if we did have a recession, but also show some promising upside in the medium term if the stars align what would they be? (I’m agnostic on sector and cap size, US or Canada)
Thank you

Q: Size comparison aside which would you recommend for a 3 to 5 year hold and why? Thank you.
Q: Your thoughts on this company going forward. They have made some acquisitions so wondering if this has some potential to move. One view is fair value would be about $73. Do you think they can get there and is this value reasonable?
Thank you

Q: hello 5i:
I am interested in the above companies, but feel both are overvalued at present. Technically, HPS appears to have a "blowoff" topping pattern while ATS is consolodating. Fundamentally, both look a little stretched as far as PE, P/CF go. The subject of growth, of course, will define future gains. From past answers, you like ATS "better" than HPS.
First, can you confirm the above deductions and do a head to head comparison of the two. Second, where do you see future growth for both, and why. HPS actually looks to have the upper hand due to the "relectrification" theme as their products might attract a larger global audience. Third, can you provide what you feel are good entry points. Thanks for this comparison as there are only funds to buy one.

Thanks for the great service,

Q: Over the last 30 years my best investments by far have been with smallish to medium sized profitable businesses with good long term growth prospects that I have bought and held for 10+ years. Generally market caps of roughly $500 million Cdn. to around $5 billion Cdn. A few have generated 20, 30 times my initial cost. I am wondering about the prospects of each of these following companies producing those kind of multi-bagger returns over the next 10 or 20 years. Would you please rank these companies in order from 1 to 13 according to the likelihood that they will become another CSU, BYD, WSP, TFII, etc. that can be a big, big winner for a long term investor: ATS, ATZ, DOO, EQB, GSY, HPS.A, KXS, LMN, NVEI, TIXT, TOI, TSU, WELL. Admittedly, TOI is a little big at $8 billion market cap.
Secondly, are there any other Cdn stocks in this size range that you would say have that kind of big upside potential, and where would you place them in comparison to the above listed companies.
