Q: Hi - for the above companies, how would you expect them to perform in a recession? Do you expect them to have positive alpha? If not these, could you list a few companies that you would be inclined to buy heading into a recession? (ignoring factors like diversification, personal risk etc etc.).

4.WHAT TYPE OF MARKET AND ECONOMIC CONDITIONS LEADS TO AN INCREASE OR DECREASE IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ETF.

Q: PXMD By 11:00 today it has traded almost 12 million shares which is the total shares outstanding. There is no news release. Something similar happened with this company not so long ago. Shouldn't regulators care about this. Atleast a halt.

Q: So, this is quite a mess we find ourselves in. However, we will eventually come out of it. I'm curious, where do you think the best money will be made going forward? Which 3 or 4 sectors do you think might lead us out of the situaltion and what is the absolute best company, on most all metrics, in each of the sectors. I'm open to etiher Canadian or global companies. Thanks for your opinion.

Q: hello 5i:
recently, I asked a question about LIFE; thanks for the quick response. In hindsight, what I should have asked might have been: which covered call ETF, in the health care space, provides the best dividend rate, with the lowest return of capital. As we're dealing in registered accounts, return of capital is not of interest to me.

Q: Tony Dwyer of Canacord Genuity talks about holding more cash now, being defensive and being ready to invest in early cycle sectors "when we come out of this later in the first half" of this year. Which sectors historically are early cycle sectors and secondly among those that are how have each performed relative to other such sectors when markets have rebounded in the past?

Q: I have been reading the oversupply to come on Lng gas etc in 2025 because of over building/over supply.
I am wondering after watching the above slip downward if this is just passing phase related to current gas stories or is this something I should consider selling and investing in more stable products. Appreciate your input. thanks. Maureen

Q: I notice that with it's new FDIC unlimited guarantee SVB is marketing itself as the safest bank for depositors. With an unlimited guarantee, it is equivalent to holding reserves at the central bank. How does the competition respond if their guarantee is limited to $250k, or as is the case in Canada, $100k? How will banking change now that depositors know that they can be made safe/whole by the stroke of a regulators pen? Are we looking at a fundamental change to banking? How should investors position for this?

Q: Many companies have become addicted to low interest rates over the last decade. Assuming that interest rates stay where they are for years to come (a rate once considered somewhat "normal"), do you see any problem with any of these blue chip stocks maintaining their dividend ? I'm sure over the course of the next 5 years or so some of these companies will need to renew debt at higher rates.
