Q: Please list your top 3 commodity stocks or etfs

Q: Over the past 5 yrs these stocks have done quite well - thank you. (Except BYD).

My portfolio has grown but these are small % and need a top up to have a meaningful impact.

Looking ahead 3-5 yrs could you rank these on moat strength and which would be best to buy now?

Q: In your answer to Barbara that appeared this morning, you reference that a Canadian who holds dividend paying investments could receive up to about $48000 tax free in income. Could you clarify this for me as I have heard that to apply, all of a persons income must be from dividends. Is this true? My wife and I have no employment income, but we do have a mix of dividends, interest, capital gains, and rental income. Trying to understand how this works.

Q: I’m trying to understand why the stock price is doing so poorly. The price has significantly dropped YTD, over 48% and 37% in 1 year. The price is $30 below their initial share price when they were spun out from SNX in late 2020. Part of the reason I think is they bought a company (Webhelp) which the market didn’t seem to like? Recent results have been mixed and they now have $5.8B in debt. They are profitable and have some money in the bank though. Any ideas why the stock has dropped so much? Are they now priced correctly or are they fairly undervalued with a potential to grow share price again?

Q: In your answer to "A" today regarding a GIC, I was surprised to find 5i telling subscribers that banks use the funds from GICs to fund the mortgages and loans that they originate.

Q: Hi Team,
What's going on with GSY today dropping 5%? Is the tender offering viewed as negative somehow? Looks to me all they are doing is paying off other debt with the new debt. I would assume the company knows what they are doing here, not sure why the negativity around this.

Q: Hey 5i, Last Monday I sent the Sector question below to 5iRinfo because it was a question about the website not a stock. I didn't get a response back from 5i, so I'll ask the question again. I don't think I should lose a question credit for this question.

I am a current member and can't find on your website if 5i does a Stock Sector Weighting chart i.e. today on the TSX what stock sectors should we be Overweight, Neutral and Underweight in? Should I have a heavier weighting in Finance or Technology? I'm sure you get it! If this chart is not there and updated on a regular basis then it certainly should be!!

Of course I am a long time holder of this company and a down a ton. Do you think this company has any ability to advance? I am down so much it seems better to wait if it has any chance to progress. In other words I have a lot more to gain than lose by waiting...if you know what I mean. On the other hand I know we have to accept our losses. Thanks for your opinion!

Q: I've never been inclined to invest in Tesla. Mostly because the stock price is largely influenced by what comes out of Elon's mouth. But there is no question the man is an innovator. And his new announcement of the Pi Phone looks like a game changer . I doubt if Apple or Samsung can pop up a satellite network anytime soon ..... Not to mention a low price point and solar charging. And for the youth that drives this market the damn thing just plain looks sexy ..... And of course at $250 it is light years below both Apple and Samsung price points.......Thus for the first time I am considering an investment in Tesla. What does 5i think of doing that solely based on this new product ? .... And is Tesla the company that owns the product or is it another of Elon's companies ? .......
