Q: Imagine if on the day that Meng Wanzhou of Huawei is extradited to the US , China declares Apple products a national security threat and bans them. Just saying.

Q: These five stocks make up my small cap portfolio that is by design fairly concentrated and aggressive. I recently added QST on the significant pull back. I’m thinking that it can weather the down turn (great balance sheet) and will likely be a 2x bagger minimum when things turn around. Are there any other small cap names like it, that have been hammered, will survive, and that you could see moving significantly in the next 12-24 months? Thanks

Without worrying about sector as it's well diversified mostly through index etf's.
What would your top canadian small cap picks be?
That you would trust with the greatest growth, security and longevity.

Q: As part of my shift from managed products to ETFs I need to top up all or a combination of ve, spy and xef. This will be a rather large transaction so I am leaning towards 25% of the amount in each ETF and keeping 25% in cash counting on covid related market dips over the next few months.

Q: I have some shares of Twin Butte (TBE) remaining in an RRSP. I see records of occasional transactions via my brokers interface, ie 18,541shares @ $0.01 on June 11 and other periodic transactions most months over the last year or so. What are these transactions?
Is there any reason to hang on to these shares? Is there any potential problems with retaining them?

Q: I raised a fair bit of cash in my RIF as the Covid madness marched on. I think I would like to buy USDollars with probably 1/2 the cash and buy some US dividend paying stocks. I need the income and I’m very concerned that this current government is going to cripple ( if not destroy) our economy..
I’m looking at stocks like Verizon, but what would you suggest?

Q: Recently RBC decided to create a new trading platform for its clients. They have removed a great system and replaced it with an unintelligible system. So I need to find a new trading platform. I have heard of icantrade and others. Could you please recommend a few for me to consider?

Q: i noticed before the markets opened that cu was at 30.32 then jumped to 33.03 before the market opened. how does that happen, its obvious someone is allowed , trade on overnight information before we as individual investors are. Thought the market was suppose to be transparent. Who is allowed to trade before the open and why.

Q: I'm looking to add another 5 quality dividend payers for the long term. Do you see any issues with my existing positions? SOME growth would be nice but secondary to dividend amount and safety of dividend. Industry and country are not important.

Q: I see AQN and CAR.un will be added to the TSX60 and the others mentioned will be added to the TSX Composite as of June 22. Would you consider any of them a buy at current levels based on this news and their underlying fundamentals/valuations??

Q: These banks have been "hammered" in the recent downturn (for good reason due to prospective loan losses, and near zero rates). That said, do you see the Fed mandating dividend cuts/eliminations in the future here, or is the market just really skittish about it? They all look "cheap" right now, but an elimination of the dividend would be a real reason for me to leave this space if it were as distinct possibility vs. a "tail risk". What is your take on this and these companies - do you see much risk in dividend cuts here? Or is it just a reflexive thought in that the European banks were mandated to eliminate dividends...
