Q: Dear 5i
I1m considering investing in the named companies primarily as my US stock allocation. I currently own appl , fb , and nvda along with the etc`s vfv , vgg , and zwh.
Do these stocks seem like a good addition at this time
Thanks

Q: Hi there. I have accumulated about 4K in cash in my TFSA that I am looking to place in either 1 or 2 growth options. This is would represent about 15% of portfolio. I'm 35 so risk tolerance is fine.

Currently have GUD, AQN, KXs, LNR, VEE, and FIRE

Would US exposure be a good plan given the current exchange rate and diversification?

Thanks

Q: Hello 5i.

I have some cash and would like to add another US stock to my portfolio, and looking for a recommendation.

I currently own Enbridge (US market), Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, UnitedHealth Group AT&T and McDonald's.

Based on what I own, can you recommend 3 or 4 stocks which you think would be good for my portfolio?

Income is not necessary, but not a problem if it has a dividend. I am looking to invest in a well managed company, with good balance sheet, and good growth potential.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

Q: Hi 5i: I've been holding Amazon for a while and have done quite well, but I'm getting nervous. I am thinking of selling and switching into Microsoft. This way I still have some "cloud" exposure and lower risk. What do you think of this move?

Q: Good afternoon,
I hold the following stocks in my business account that have a weight of between 6.2% and 8.3%. This account was started in DEC/16 and has increased by 6.7% YTD not including dividends. I want to add six more stocks to further diversify while reducing the percentage per equity down to between 4 and 5%.

My goal is to generate income equal to the amount of corporate tax payable annually. I looks like this can be achievable!

Let me know if I need to share dollar values to help access.

Thanks,
Raymond

Q: Good afternoon.
I've been doing a little research on the growth of artificial intelligence in Canada and I would appreciate any insight/ recommendations you may have for investment knowing that there could be a high level of risk involved. This would probably be for a TFSA account with a 1-5 year frame. Might there be an IPO(s)on the horizon worth investigating?
Thanks.

Q: Hello 5i
I am looking to find an individual investment or etf offering cloud storage securities. I prefer to invest with c$ due to currency exchange fees but if the best companies at good valuation are in US$, then so be it.

Would you please suggest a few options and comment on valuation or other significant indicator to consider before entry today?

Thank you
Dave

Q: I have 50K US$ and wish to purchase 3 or 4 growth and income stocks on an American exchange. I was thinking of MSFT as one of them. Do you agree? Would you suggest other names. Thank you

Q: MSFT- I held this one for a while and sold at $32 due to poor Q results and negative street view. It has steadily moved up to over $38 on what news? Announced to-day a deal to share software code through another tech company the ramifications of which I have no idea going fwd as it pertains to MSFT's EPS. I'd like to own a software stock and I am wondering if I should wait on this one as it pays a decent dividend with room to go higher??
