Q: I have 1400 BMO shares in Rrsp, I want to sell them and buy tech stocks, looks like tech stocks are hit bottom, this is the list that I want to buy Lspd, Nvei, Toi, shop, Cts, Eglx, At , Goog, Amzn, Upst and Apps, your thoughts please, thanks always.

Aside from a better market backdrop, what will it take for SHOP to regain investor confidence? Is it similar to AMZN a few years ago, where AMZN ploughed all its cash flow into expanding its business, but at some point paused somewhat and showed some big profits?

Q: Hello — I noticed that 5i doesn't list AMZN's NEO ticker (AMZN-NE). I am aware that it's not a share but rather a Canadian Depository Receipt on Canada's NEO exchange that sports decent trade volume (~130k)

So, question: what, in your mind, are the chief advantages/disadvantages of buying AMZN CDRs, or *any* CDR, for that matter, as NEO also offers CDRs for MSFT, GOOGL, TSLA, etc.?

Q: I'm more a scavenger than a predator, as much interested in dividends as capital gains. Right now, however, I see opportunity in the growth sector as it collapses after years of ridiculous rises. My intention is to sell off bond funds to pick off the debris of this collapse.

First question: Now or wait?

Second question: What are your choices given this scenario, US or Canadian? Bear in mind, I'm not interested in the 5 or 10 yr wait. I'm looking at a bounce back after half the herd has jumped. I want reasonable growth prospects, a price to earnings ratio that isn't stupid and a margin that also isn't stupid. Say, for example, Apple.

I've taken some profits and have the following stocks that are down and can utilize: AMZN, VISA, DIS, TFII and GSY - can you recommend which ones I should sell and if you would be okay buying them back after the 30 days?

I have been a blue chip dividend investor for almost 2 decades and have been more recently challenged to incorporate "growth stocks" and don't have a feel for this sector at all.

Please provide the 5i response or rebuttal to the bubbly status of the market?

Do larger growth stocks example, Googl, apple, Microsoft and amazon. represent a safety over the "average" growth stock?

Q: I have sold AMZN and TTD to harvest a tax loss. I will buy both after 30 days. Can you suggest proxies for either or both of these or is it best to just wait it out.

Q: for an 18 year old buying TFSA of 6 000, summer work earnings, but not needing money for a long time, probably targeting first home buy 10 + years down the road (education covered) what would you suggest if ETF, 3 suggestions please. Q: I know you don't have a crystal ball, but one analyst yesterday says sell SHOP with a US$400 target and a two year runway to better days and another today gives them a US$1000 target with this being a short blip.

In a non-reg account, would you sell for the loss? What would be your 30 day replacement? What would you suggest in a registered account?
