Q: Under a scenario where Trump gets his aggressive rate cuts, US unemployment rises as lay-offs continue, U.S. personal debt delinquencies continue to rise and US national debt increases even further, what segments could see a lift? Segments to avoid? Please provide 10 favourite Canadian stocks under that scenario.

Q: You've mentioned a few times that TVK has higher debt levels. Generally I would take a pass on high debt but did buy some a while back and have done okay. Is there reason to be concerned by the level of debt today? Under what scenarios would it be a problem, and what are your thoughts on the likelihood of those scenarios?

Q: I have around 35% cash to deploy in my TFSA, with a long term time frame in mind. I currently have positions in XIC (16%) and VFV (10%). Looking to add and diversify with another 2-3 ETF's. Could you list a few suggestions?

Q: In your answer to Brad this morning you mention Ben Watsa managing " a successful India focused fund with strong returns " ..... Doing some research I find the symbols MCL 400 and 0P0001TWBV.TO ..... Neither of which gets any response when I search for it in my TD Waterhouse RRIF account.... First where can I research the company ? And should I desire how do I buy it ?..... Q: This is a follow-up question regarding XIC/XIU. In your response you said that you preferred XIC over XIU because it is more diversified. This seems to be at odds with the portfolios outlined in the ETF publication where XIU is the preferred option. Somewhat confused. Could you provide some rationale please. Thanks

Q: Hello, I have recently invested in CSU (2 months) and saw the stock price go down by a third so far. In your crystal ball, do you believe there could be a catalyst at earnings’ time, to get the share price jumping? Is there a chance they might do a conference call, for once? I am tempted to sell for tax loss reasons, but it would be frustrating to see the price jump 10-20% afterwards… Thanks

Q: CN Rail shares were added to the Income Portfolio, Today.

If you decide to add exposure to rails in the Balanced Portfolio, which Canadian rail would be your preference today and why ?

You had mentioned before that CNR has a cheaper valuation and good dividend yield. But, I would appreciate your reasoning to cover other factors like future growth prospects, geographical considerations and total shareholder returns, as well.
