Q: Hello Peter and staff,
What are the PE ratios for all four companies? Would you consider PE for BCE and Telus to be on the high side? Also, any idea why ATA is not participating in the rally given good numbers, and do you think investors are waiting for next earnings from Nuvei as the stock is stuck where the short sellers pushed it to.. Thanks very much.

Q: PKI's recent poor performance is well-documented but am I interested in a deeper dive as to why. Should its fortunes not have improved with the rise in oil prices? Or is the sky high price of fuel at the pumps resulting in lower volumes and thus decreased traffic in its high margin stores? Or is it something else? I have been a long term owner but my patience is just about exhausted and I am skeptical at best about the M & M acquisition.
Thanks for your views.

Q: What are your thoughts on initiating a long term position on GOOS given the current economic conditions?
Q: Gentlemen
Any reason other than market weakness that's causing the recent weakness?

Q: Hello Peter and staff,
What are the PE ratios for both companies and what are the payout ratios for the dividends Is there site to help us calculate the payout ratios? Also, do both companies still offer good value or would you say they are fairly valued and best to wait before taking full position? I have seen companies paying out over 100 percent and is that red a flag? Thanks very much.

Q: Do you see this as a reasonable entry point for a long-term hold of BEPC, for increasing dividend income and some capital growth? I hold BEPC in a taxable account, so I prefer BEPC over BEP.UN for tax reasons. Thank you!

Q: I own some AQN and continue to watch it fall. Would you recommend adding more AQN at this price or buying Brookfield BEP-U?
Q: Peter,
The G & M normally lists the individual stocks that make up the various indexes of the TSX. They have changed the format of the paper and on Saturday's edition they have removed this information. Where could I find it?
I am looking for the actual stocks in the index, not the makeup of any ETF.
Thank you
Paul

Q: Please comment on the following possible risks to owning GSY:
1) Balance Sheet - 5i’s January report indicates it is strong, but Debt/Equity (as of Sept/21) is almost 160% (considering Long Debt only). My understanding is a ratio of 25% or less is good.
2) Interest Rates - Rising rates are generally good for Financials like Banks/Insurers since they hold lots of cash. I don’t think GSY holds deposits, so does that mean rising rates are bad for it?
3) Loan Defaults - Related to rising rates, wouldn’t GSY’s client base be quite vulnerable here?
