Q: I'm looking for some inflation protection via investing in REITs and came across RQI and ICF. I'm trying to determine the difference between these two. They appear to have similar holdings, yet the payout appears to be quite different. In a response to someone's question back in May you mentioned that RQI's payout is taxed quite a bit more than a Canadian dividend - even if held within an RRSP, which by the way is where I would plan to hold it. Is it the same case for ICF ?

Which would be the better buy? Or is better to stick to a similar Canadian alternative?

Q: Hello Peter and team,
What do you think of Cohen and Steers and Icahn Enterprises. i am just concerned of the high yield . Is this sustainable? I am looking at these for my RRSP where the dividends don't have tax implications until i withdraw funds.

Q: Greetings,

I am currently reviewing holdings as i have taken over management of my own US 401K. I generally prefer to hold the individual stocks over paying management fees, however, as I research this fund, the fees seem to be worth it in this case and i certainly like the monthly dividend as i head into retirement in the next couple of years. Your thoughts on this one?

Thanks
