Q: I have an RESP for my nephew who is in grade 12 now and attending a college in the fall. His parents are not great savers, and I don't have children, so I'm fine to subsidize his education. I currently hold only CDZ and TD in the RESP and would like to add some additional cash soon.

What's your advice on how to proceed? Do I add to one or both, or would I be better to invest in CASH or PSA.

Q: I have both BAM and BN in a TFSA. I don't have enough cash to buy BAM to a 2 % weight, so would it be best to sell BAM and use the proceed from this sale to increase BN to a 4% weight.

Q: I don't have any Air Canada in my TFSA but will be selling some CAE to make it a 2% weight. Would you use the cash from this sale to buy Air Canada since not yet owned?

If I remember correctly, when Brookfield took over CHR you thought that might be "transformational" for CHR. I've always liked CHR (for some irrational reason I think) and have been in and out of it over the years, sometimes to my benefit and sometimes not. And back in the day it had a pretty nice dividend. After Brookfield got involved, and hoping for a transformation (!) I got back in. It's been pretty steadily downhill since, although it seems to have shown some strength in the last couple of weeks.
I wonder what your thoughts on CHR are now that it's been in the Brookfield stable for a while and given the current economic client. And also its prospects on the dividend front - considering that Brookfield has always seemed to me quite parsimonious in that regard ...

Please give me your opinion regarding the prospects for this company in 2023. I would appreciate information on the financial health of the company as well as the outlook for it drilling operations.

Q: Peter; It’s been about 5 weeks since CTS announced the interest in it and subsequent trading halt. In your experience, does the longer it takes to announce a result, like a jury (!) the better the outcome? Thanks
