Q: Could you comment on the results. Looks like they were not as good as expected. I had been thinking of starting a position in my RSP, viewing Killam as a pretty stable reit, decent yield, and probably somewhat exempt from a major market correction. What do you think? Take advantage of this drop or stay away?

Q: I’m a62 year old retired investor with an excellent DB Pension and I’m working on a supplemental cash flow with my TFSAs,I have held the above stocks for about 4 years all roughly 10-12K in value and have been set up as DRIPs
My question is could you recommend another 8-10 Cdn dividend stocks($ 100K of room) I would add to this account coming from another TFSA,these could possibly have 4-6 % capitol growth and 4-6% dividend yield and in 3 years I would go from a DRIP to monthly or quarterly cash payments,I am medium risk and the sectors would not matter ….Thanks Greg

Q: Citing elevated redemption requests and tighter cash flows, some asset managers are joining a growing list of firms who are warning investors about changes to their real estate funds, which range from limited redemptions to reduced monthly distributions.

For example Trez Capital Mortgage Investment Corp, Nicola Wealth Management Ltd. and Centurion Asset Management Inc. informed investors about such changes. I own CAR.UN, KMP.UN and GRT.UN. Can I please get your thoughts for these three.

Q: What is your take on q2 and did they beat expectations? I have owned shares for a long time and they appear to be a pretty good operator. What is your take? Q: I hold these REITs in a diversified portfolio. They have not been performing and are mostly close to 52 week lows. Do you see upside in these? What is your view on holding REITs like these? Q: Hello,

I own KMP.UN and just received a large package from them requesting I vote for or against.

They are asking shareholders to approve the plan of arrangement as Appendix E.

I made an attempt to go through it and understand what they were proposing but admit it wasn't clear to me.

Could you please clarify what they are asking shareholders to vote on and interpret it for us in simple talk.

Q: I had asked a question about boardwalk selling off recently and you mentioned oil price sensitivity in Alberta and while it has sold off slightly more than peers the entire group has gotten crushed pretty much straight down for the past 6 weeks despite rates trending down (probably at or more than expected) in Canada. Why are these names selling off? I don’t get it. Thanks

Q: Good Afternoon,
I have owned Killam for a while. There has been no appreciable growth or dividend increase. What is the likelihood of either happening. Would I be better off selling Killam and purchasing another stock? If so, what stock would you suggest that would offer some growth and a good dividend. There is no tax implications as I hold Killam in my TFSA.
