Q: Hello I was wondering your opinion on this little alt meat company out of Victoria BC. They have only been trading since June 17 publicly before that the founders were on Dragons den and they did a crowd source on Frontfundr for 600k. Yesterday they did a new bought deal through Canacord for 5million. These funds are apparently earmarked for expansion in the US. I have personally tried a couple of their products and found it to be quite good even tastier than BYND (side note I still enjoy a good real burger and steak). Lastly this company has inked a few new distribution deals with grocers like Sobeys and increased their online "meat" club subs. My questions is with this new focus on the US market would it be time to take a chance or start a position.? To my understanding they are in the process of completing a new manufacturing plant in Vancouver to help meet their growing demand. Thanks as always.

Q: Good morning team,
In a bit of a portfolio cleanup in my TFSA yesterday I sold some laggards and reduced my Shopify shares to bring it more in line with my targeted weighting. After completing Norbert's Gambit, I will be deploying the funds to buy US stocks. Please share your 2 or 3 favourite growth stocks for 5+ year hold in each of the following categories: Health Care, Communication Services, and other non-Tech (if you have more compelling options than those listed in Health and Comm Service).
Thanks in advance,
Rory

And would you buy now or wait ?

Q: How do valuations of AVLR look like in comparison to your other high-growth favorites (e.g., VEEV, DOCU, AYX, TEAM, CRWD, FSLY, TTD)? It is clear that AVLR is expensive, but I wanted to get a feel of where it stands w.r.t to peers. Would you a start a position for a minimum 5-year hold at current prices? Is there a much better company to invest in from the group I mentioned?
Q: Hello 5i,
What would be your preference between Zscaler and Crowdstrike and why?
Thanks

Q: Hi Everyone at 5i! My son has a TFSA with the following holdings: ATD.B,BMO,BNS,ZWU,BAM.A,ENB,FTS,GWO, KXS,LSPO,OTEX,PBH,SHOP,VGT. Courtesy of the rebalancing of Shop, he has 50K to be redeployed. I would like to purchase five companies. Any suggestions, considering what he has in the portfolio already? I am looking for long term holds , preferably growth stocks. Cheers, Tamara,

Q: I see that REAL is reporting at the end of the month. Wondering if you could give me the estimates that are expected? Also, I am curious to hear if you have any thoughts on earnings, (beat or miss) or if you could give your own expectations?
Thanks for everything,

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan seeing that SHOP has risen so much from when you first put it in the Model portfolio at 28.84 is it to late to invest in it now at these levels. How much more upside could there be. Thanks, Nick
Q: Thoughts on their 1/4, thanks
Q: Can I get your thoughts on these two companies? How do they compare in fundamentals, valuation and growth prospects? Honestly I didn’t think PTON would do this well because of the price point and if Covid didn’t come, I don’t think the stock would be where it is today. PTON been growing lots lately and with LULU buying Mirror recently, do you think this theme of convenience at home fitness will continue into the future after things return to normal? Would you be a buyer now and which one would you buy and why? Half or full position? Looking for long term growth. Thanks!

Q: I have these 7 stocks, they comprise about 30% of the equities I own, in part because the their stellar performance in recent months. Two parts to my question: first, though they are all categorized as "tech" ( well, maybe not Goog), I am trying to get a sense of how different they might be from each other so that 30% is better diversified than the label they fall under might suggest? Can you briefly describe the underlying businesses of the 3 Cdn ones and indicate if you see all 7 as diversified. Second, if the stock market should hit another significant pull back (like March or otherwise), would these 7 be resilient enough to avoid major losses, and are some better than others in this regard? Thank you for your excellent service.
Q: Thx for all your terrific guidance. I am looking to add two more growth names. I am deciding between AVLR, XBC and ABBV. What would you rank them in order for strongest growth, and secondly what would you rank them from least risky to highest risk.
Thanks so much,
Brian

Q: The TSGI/Flutter conversion closed May 5, but the proceeds of the conversion have still not shown up in my account. Below is the response from my investment firm received on July 5.
"Thank you for your message.
In regards to TSGI/Flutter transaction, the reason for the long delay is because Flutters shares trade on the London Exchange and we are still waiting for the shares to be received. I believe I may have spoken to you originally regarding this and such transactions typically do take up to 10 business days to be completed.
I have now heard that when dealing with foreign stock takeovers the delay can be much longer than that and we have submitted everything required for our clients to have the shares received. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for them so it's hard to say how much longer exactly it will take to receive the shares.

Steve

Could you please comment if in your experience their explanation is reasonable or any recommended action I could take to expedite the process? Have you had other clients identify this issue?
Thank you.
