Park Lawn Corporation (PLC $26.48)
-
Kinaxis Inc. (KXS $144.74)
-
Polaris Renewable Energy Inc. (PIF $12.78)
Q: PLC and KXS - two stocks that you promote have fallen quite rapidly over the last while. This rally we have had over the last few days - they have not participated in. I am thinking of replacing them with stocks which have more upside potential - PIF is one of them with a 7% dividend. What are your thoughts on that? On another note - I was logging into one of the model portfolios and it asked me for a user ID and password which I have not come across before and I wasn't able to get in -- even though I put a user ID and password in, it didn't seem to allow me to go in. Thank you Dennis
Q: I see PLC just released results which fell short of analyst expectations. Had a quick look through the latest financials and noticed increase in revenue and net income, decrease in long term debt levels however this looked to be funded by a share issue. I get that PLC is acquisitive and doesn't have the cash flow to fund all of the acquisitions. But does the constant issuance of shares concern the team at 5i? I guess stock performance to date indicates market is not worried about it. Any concerns with starting a position held in a TFSA?
Q: Thanks for your insights regarding Park Lawn. Just for clarification, you mentioned PLC earned 14 cents per share. I thought they earned 19 cents adjusted.
Thanks again for your help.

Q: I have a hard time understanding the valuation for GDI. What am I missing? Would you buy it at the current price?
Q: I have held Park Lawn for a while and it has been a decent performer. However, I note that over the last month it has been very strong, almost, relatively, parabolic and without a “down” day for some while. Ie. from around $25.50 on May 1 to over $29 today. Do you have any information on why this security may be acting so?
Q: Comments and analysis please on PLC's first quarter results just released. I am thinking of increasing my holding to 2.5% of portfolio.
Wise?
Thanks, Tim.

Q: Does this move downwards provide a nice entry point given the circumstances?
Q: I hold SIS and also disappointed, but I did purchase at $5.72 so I will watch for now. PLC announced an offering: Park Lawn Corporation Announces $125 Million Bought Deal Offering and Successful Completion of Cress Funeral Service Acquisition. Stock down 6.75%, is this an opportunity to purchase PCL at a discount?
Thanks
