Q: A while back my phone kept giving me updates about Poland's stock market performance which I thought rather odd. However it sounds like their economy has experienced a lot of growth lately. Is that likely to continue? Are there any ETF's (US or CA) that you might recommend if one wanted exposure to Poland? I realize you don't follow non-NA markets that much but any info you can offer will be appreciated.

Q: After staying subdued for most of this year, Energy names have seen a nice uptick over last few weeks, despite Oil prices still languishing below $60 level. NG is also holding steady above $5 level.

We presently own only ENB, in the sector ( which acts more like a utility ).

Do you see indicators that after a long period of underperformance, the sector is displaying strong signs of a sustained recovery and it's not too late to start ownership ?

If you believe so, would you start with large cap names like SU and CNQ - Any one or Both ?

Q: Hello gentlemen: I am looking for companies to top up such that their current PE is near or within its last 10 years average. Which of the above is your Most prefer to least. Feel free to add a few more that isn't mentioned above.

Q: Do you include dividends in the calculation of your total return for each stock in you Portfolios? I do and find in very helpful as to me Capital appreciation + dividends = total return. It is amazing the compounding effect over time.

Q: Please update your opinion on CVLT including details on guidance and any contract wins. It came onto my radar after Ryan made an appearance touting it as one to watch. On Sept 4, you mentioned in a question that it was ok but expensive and preferred others. At $120-125 per share does it represent an opportunity or is it still expensive? Why or why not and if NO, at what price does it become a yes based on potential?

Q: Please provide a list of 10 sector diversified Canadian Dividend payers assuming $500,000 to invest and $50,000 in each one. Please also provide an additional 10 that have a reasonable dividend with more growth than the first list where I might consider allocating $10,000 from the $50,000 allocated to the safer first 10 names suggested.

Q: How would you define a "core holding" in a portfolio? The above listed companies I consider to be core holdings. Does this list broadly match your definition of what type of companies should make up core holdings in a portfolio? Are there names in that list that you would NOT consider to be "core holdings"?

Q: For a leveraged account could you suggest 1 or 2 additional Canadian dividend stocks to add.
With the ROC distribution on VEQT is it best to re invest in more shares of the ETF with the funds or does it need to be transferred back against the loan to keep it fully tax deductible.
