Q: hi,
I hold all these, several fro many years. they are all in the red. many are (former) stalwart blue chip dividend plays. I am basically comfortable holding them, and I do expect a good rebound in prices when rates start to fall. 1) am I missing something? are there any in the list that you think the dividend may be in jeopardy, or you see no runway for growth ( small or large). 2) are there any in the list you would be comfortable adding to ( which is what I am wanting to do)?

Q: I own both BCE { up 2.37% in 7 years of ownership not including dividends } and T { up 15% in 7 years of ownership not including dividends } and am going to sell at least one. { Neither have been particularly exciting } .... I'm inclined to keep Telus but the current problems with TIXT are making me hesitate. Just how much do you think TIXT is going to effect Telus's earnings going forward ? And if it were " you " and you had to sell one which would it be ?

Q: I'm a retired somewhat conservative investor content with slow steady growth and a dividend helps as well. I have been happy with my diversified portfolio but constantly struggle with should I or should I not make these changes;
1. Sell T (non-registered account, tax loss) buy BCE?
2. Sell AAPL (in an RRSP) and buy NVDA?
3. Sell TD (non-registered account, tax loss) and buy BNS?
4. Sell ATZ and or DOO (both in a TFSA) and buy what?

Q: Hello Team,
at the current prices, it seems to me that they are good entry point for both of these companies.
What is your opinion?

Telus yields a 6.3$ dividend at the current price and this is long term "income" investment.

I am also interested of your opinion on EFX following the steep drop in the stock price recently and also considering this week's announcement that they were able to dispose of Exterran Offshore at, what seems, a favorable price considering the expectations.

Q: Thank you for your quick response to my previous question. I would like to use excess cash in my RRIF to top up either Telus or Enbridge. May I have your opinion of their relative total returns for the next 1 to 3 years?

Q: I am currently in the negative on T, AMZN, TTD, TCN, NVEI, CPRX, ATZ, ENGH, LSPD, ABNB, WELL, BEP.UN, ROKU, ILMN, SE, PINS, and ZM. Q: What is your dividend and share price growth opinion on these 2 over the next 12 months? It seems that their primary revenue source is selling data which provides limited growth. They seem to have lost out on the content distribution sector and I don't see new growth areas for them. Where do you think their growth will come from? I currently hold both (which is not good) and am considering selling both. I had originally invested for share price growth and dividends.

Q: In my investing account, Telus is rated a sell based on 4 analyst sells, 6 holds, and 1 buy. I just read your comparison with BCE, and it seems to me that while you prefer BCE, you hardly regard Telus as a sell. I hold both and was planning to continue. Would you see any objection? (I'm retired)

Q: I'm hoping to take profit from ATD and maybe CSU. My weight in CSU is out of hand but I find it hard to sell that juggernaut. I also have TOI and LMN. I'm happy with my weighting of TOI and i plan to add a small weighting in LMN. I'm underweight in the following: SIS, PBH, SHOP, TD, BEP.UN, ENB, T, SLF, AW.UN. How would you rank these names going forward? Would you recommend swapping any of these for better opportunities that 5i covers or are in the balanced portfolio?

Q: Is it true that Telus's dividend has not been covered between 2020-22 and won't be for the following two years?

Other than the benefits of both this sector's limited competition in our country and
this government's immigration policy that has been put in place, are there any other reasons why Telus holds a relatively large PE valuation relative to the single digit PE's of both AT&T and Verizon?

My RRSP portfolio consists of the above stocks all with relatively the same weighing. Can you suggest 5 names or so, (CDN and U.S) that I take a look at that would complement the above? Q: I know you don't like comparing ETFs to single stocks...but I'm going to put a question out there anyway. I currently hold TELUS in a non-registered account. As I've held it for a very long time, I'm up 20%, but I feel the stock is stalled for a number of reasons. Given that I bought it for the dividend as well as some growth, I would appreciate your advice on trading it for HMAX. Please compare total estimated growth for both T and HMAX over the next 3-5 years. Additionally, with interest rates expected to begin falling next year, how would that impact the price of HMAX? Thank you.

Q: I own the above high dividend yield Canadian stocks, just under 4% yield and up. I am looking to add maybe 10 to 20 % to 4 or 5 positions. The yield on these is enough for us now so no hurry to sell anything.
Retired, but still looking at safety of capital. I have left out O&G plays and other potentially riskier plays. (except Enbridge)

Which of these, or other stocks do you believe have the greatest potential for price appreciation over the next couple of years if/when interest rates drop.

I am looking for your top 5, here but feel free to add other picks.

Q: I own the companies in question in an unregistered investment account. To offset some capital gains I was thinking of divesting myself of some of these investments. Please rate them in order of disposition in your opinion. I am a retired investor who believes in companies with a history of dividends. Total return, long term investor with a diversified portfolio. If you had new money to add to a portfolio, would you consider CCL.B and T decent prospects, especially on weakness in the last year or so (these are small holdings in my portfolio)?
