Q: My question is about SVOL. It appears to be an interesting way to hedge against volativity but I cannot really get a grasp on it. Can you please add it to the list of stocks/ETFs so I can track it. Right now it is overbought and pays an almost unreal yield. Finally can I have your opinion....seems risky.

Q: What is your opinion about investing in Mobileye?
The company was recently spun off from Intel (After having bee acquired in 2017). The company is expanding its ADAS portfolio, created a mapping power house, defined safety standards that are considered and adopted by regulators and has made significant progress in the technology and adoption fronts. It is marching towards more and more autonomous driving solution. Unlike TESLA, it is not fully vertically integrated (i.e. it licenses and sells to many car manufacturers).
How would you compare it to Tesla's autonomous car technology and market position? Which company would you prefer if one is interested in exposure to automobile autonomous driving?
(Please add MBLY to your database).
Thank you for your excellent servie!

Exchange Income Corporation (EIF $74.98)
Q: I hold SIS in a cash account and am up 4.5%. Considering selling it to purchase either EIF or AW.UN. Given my quest for solid dividends along with some growth and moderate risk - balanced with my aversion to paying capital gains tax - which course of action would you suggest and why? (Mindful of one of your favourite quotes about the stock market being a device to transfer money from the impatient to the patient...) Thank you

Q: Hi 5iResearch
Is there a sector rotation happening now in the market?
If no, do you expect any sector rotation in the foreseeable future?
Unless the answers to both questions are no, can you please identify these sectors (favourable, unfavourable)?

Can you please comment on Salona Globals's results yesterday and whether it is good buy at this point ? Also, any idea what drove Greenlane higher yesterday and thoughts about the company ? Can you recommend a good etf for India exposure in canadian dollars and is this a good time to initiate a position in India? Thanks very much.

Q: Happy New year 5I. This is my first question of 2023. DPM had a big pop yesterdday. i guess that the press release about a juicy find in their Serbian property was the reason for the sharp rise in share price (60isb grams over 40 meters sounds pretty good but you ex-Sprott guys should know better than me,) So my questions are: Are those drill results in Serbia as good as they sound to me? and Does a release of good drill results usually lead to sustained strong share price? (My observation is that interest wanes when the next company announces some shiny drill results!) I like DPM for their net cash balance sheet, two profitable mines in Bulgaria, the copper smelter in Namibia, and now this potential in Serbia. I wish they had not invested in the property in Equador but it is too late now. I sold half my postion in DPM. Should I keep the rest and get out now that 52 week share price is near the high point?
Q: I hold convertible debentures from Invesque IVQ.DB.V, maturing 30 Sept of this year, but which are only trading at 80 cents on the dollar. This seems to indicate that there is a substantial risk of default. In your opinion will I get my principal back or will I be given newly-issued and hence highly diluted IVQ shares? Thanks!

Q: How would you rank these. What would the rationale be for the ranking. Housing affordability seems to be a market issue as well as not enough supply. Are these all buys with the macro backdrop?

Q: Hi 5iresearch
I am in a loss position with the above stocks. They represent a very small size of my portfolio. Which ones would have a good chance for recovery in the next 12 months? I am trying to determine which ones I should sell to allocate to other shares with better chances. You can give %s for their recovery in the next 12 months.
Thank you

Q: Hello. Can I have your thoughts on this company, it’s growth profile, insider ownership, leverage to gold price and the sustainability of its dividend? Does Eric Sprott still own a bunch?
Q: Hello Peter & Team,
With global liquid fuels production expected to increase by over a million barrels per day in both 2023 & 24, would you be bullish on new positions in the O&G sector. And if so, which would be your recommended name(s) based on growth with some dividend?
I am considering BTE & CNQ.
Thanks for all you do?
Gord

Q: BNN guest just mentioned Osisko Gold Royalties is trading close to a 60% NAV discount & widest historical spread. What do you have as the discount and other metrics? Is this a good buy for Gold? Holding full position in BTO, sold DNG due to Peru risk.
