Q: Good morning 5i
I am planning to add one stock to a fairly conservative portfolio with the aim of reasonable growth on a three year time frame at a fair valuation. I have narrowed my thoughts down to four names; Leons (LNF), Power (POW), ATS Automation (ATA) and Magna International (MG).
Please comment and could you give a ranking for growth (10 highest) and risk (10 greatest).

Q: I am looking at either ( or both) for initial tech position in conservative high income non registered portfolio. HTA, covered call, hedged, equal weight 20 large caps, MER 0.85 ,yield 4.75 , One year return 44%, ROC tax efficient. ZNQ, Nasdaq 100, hedged, cap weighted, MER 0.38, yield 0.34, one year return 39 %, normal tax.
Which would you prefer and why? Thanks

Q: i took a loss on FSZ last year but with recent results and my transition into retirement i wanted to get your views on the Dividend. As other members have commented it has not increased its dividend since 2019 but is the current dividend sustainable? The results seemed good and for a retiree it is very difficult to find this kind of yield?

Q: In Nov 2020 you mentioned that DMG was to small and risky.Do you still feel the same way for an investment. Avalon I noticed has been up and down, Rare earth minerals. Any news going forward and would you invest for future or are there better one to invest. EV market etc

Q: I could use some help with thinking about pot retail opportunities. ATD has bought into FAF, but aside from licensing issues in certain jurisdictions, I don’t see the long term benefit for ATD. I mean why do they need FAF at all? Or is this a testing the waters kind of move for ATD? Do you think adding cannabis to ATD’s corner store offerings has the potential to bump up revenue in a meaningful way? And on the other side, are there any players in the cannabis retail space that look promising? What do they really have to offer that a larger company like ATD could not replicate in a heartbeat?
