Q: Endo Pharma tanked on Friday (down one-third) after announcing the hiring of a Restructuring Advisor. Do you think they will survive?
Of course, this revives the "will Knight ger Paladin" question.
I have always thought Endo would never sell to Knight because they would be embarrassed after paying so much for the company to Goodman and Co...
I guess it's now if ever...

Q: I've just started to look into GUD and I'm trying to understand why the shares have been trading down since 2017. From what I can see, earnings and revenue have been climbing, they've beaten EPS estimates the last 5 quarters, insiders are buying, the company is buying back shares, management has a good track record....what is the bull thesis or what am I missing?

Q: I owned Paladin and was very happy with the sale to ENDP, but I, regrettably, held my shares of ENDO until I lost most if not all of my Paladin windfall. You endorsed ENDO and saw future growth there. Now that TSGI has been sold, I am wondering what to do. I realize there is some deal risk and regulatory risk, and I am not fond of the inconvenience of the London Exchange. I am thinking I might sell my TSGI shares and put the proceeds split into LSPD and/or SHOP. I know you see growth in all three, but you have perhaps been endorsing LSPD and SHOP for longer, now. And you took TSGI out of the portfolio (before the sale, I realize). To focus my question, let me ask: How do the two Canadian stocks compare to TSGI in terms of risks/rewards going forward. The 2 for 1 would at least add a bit of diversification.

Q: Your updated report on Knight Therapeutics gives six A+ ratings and one A. Did you arrive at an A- overall rating due to management risk concerning CEO Goodman's possible health issues? With the present management team, is there eventually a possibility that his departure, for whatever reason, would not diminish the company due to existing talent?
How likely is it that Endo would sell Paladin to Knight? Is that not the ultimate embarrassment - selling a company for which you paid a fortune - for a song?
Thanks.

Q: I purchased 50 shares of ENL at 36.5 Canadian considering it was very cheap on a valuation basis. Looking at their earnings they will be earning almost US 4.9 per share in 2016. After hours the stock is down to USD 20. This price makes it around 5 times earnings. Do you suggest I bail out at the market in the morning or should I keep holding for next several months for the price to recover.

Q: Hi Team,
I am willing to take a full position in Endo Pharmaceutical, it seems it has been overly punished by the market due to the similarities with VRX (and similar business model) I suppose.

I see limit downside risk and it is, I think, a potential takeover candidate at the current price level (similar to Concordia).
Earnings are coming soon, so I was thinking to take my first half position before the earnings and the rest of my position after but I am not sure... what is your opinion?

Bye the way, congratulations for the latest improvements on the site!

Q: 5i Team, I owned Paladin, held my shares, and now own ENDO INTERNATIONAL PLC. Two part question: 1. There seems to be two symbols: ENL.TO and ENDP. I understand that one trades on TSX and one trades in US, but I can't resolve the difference in price and volume. Right now the TSX listing trades at roughly $78 and the US listed roughly $70. Shouldn't TSK be lower, not higher. Also, very dramatic volume differences. I took no action with Paladin shares, so would I now by default own the TSX listed shares? 2. Is the long term outlook for ENDO good enough for me to continue holding them. I have no other health care stocks. I am tempted to sell, but only because I feel a bit lost at sea, now that you no longer cover the new company. If the outlook is decent, I will probably continue to hold.
Thanks
Ditto to all the wonderful comments you get on your service.

Q: Hi, Wondering about your recomendations pertaining to the delisting of PLB. As I understand, PLB holdings will be transferred to a combination of END and GUD shares. Do you have
a preference between the two or are there others in the sector that you prefer? Thanks, Lavern
p.s. Will be glad to support the upcoming Ride for Cancer that Peter is participating in. What a great idea, see our Great Country, exercise, all while supporting a very worthwhile cause!
