Q: I currently hold positions in Sandstorm Gold and Newmont Corp (larger holding). I would like to add one more stock and I am considering Kirkland Lake, Agnico Eagle and B2 Gold. I have a relatively high risk tolerance and I would appreciate your choice from among these three companies unless you have an alternative that you prefer.

Q: Hi 5i team,
Congrats on the recent upgrade to Portfolio Analytics. It seems to be a big hit. I would consider it myself but over the past several years, I have moved 75% of my equity holdings to the U.S. (in RRSP, TFSA and non-registered), which has vastly outperformed my Canadian holdings. PA would tell me to come back to Canada which I don’t want to do. I don’t follow the conventional portfolio rules. In fact, I am considering moving all my remaining fund to the U.S. markets. Other than the currency risk if the CDN $ appreciates on a sustained basis (which I doubt), do you see any other pitfalls with this strategy?

Q: if I want to received dividend in US , will it be advisable to buy co. like Enb. in U$., or other dual listing companies, like RY,TD. or will it be better to simply buy equivalent US listed Co. instead. Thank you as always.

Q: Good Morning Peter & Team

Last we discussed NNO was early March. Based on your recommendation, I held my position.

Today the price is up over 40%. Last news I read was June 24 when a "Breakthrough in longer lasting Lithium-ion Cathode Materials" was discussed.

What do you know about why NNO has seen such a big jump today?

Q: I'm interested in covered calls and note that ZWU, ZWC and ZWH are all down 15-20% YTD.
For an income portfolio, they look very appealing with their 7% to 9% yield.
Would you recommend to bump up the income?
What % of an income portfolio would you recommend?

Q: Dear 5i Team,

Can you help me understand why Intact trades at such a multiple of book value when compared to other strong P&C / specialty insurers like Allstate which also have a long track record? Is it worth that premium?

Q: I'm curious if come across any companies that would be a good way to invest in wellness clinics. Those offices that often have physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractor, acupuncture all in one office.


Between the aging population, working from home with less then ideal ergonomics and people willing to spend more on their health I feel like this area could see continued growth.

Q: Hi Guys
I own shares in Tobias Carlisles " The Aquires Fund" the symbol is ZIG
This is a Value ETF, small in size and has an MER of around 0.9%
My concern is that it doesn't pay a dividend, I imagine he re invests the dividend proceeds back into the fund?
I was thinking of selling it and replacing it with VVL, this actively managed ETF has an MER of 0.37% and a Dividend of 3.41%
Is it not really compelling Value here on the fundamentals?
I think it trades on a P/E of less than 10x. There might be risk though in some of his Holdings.
If there is a move back into value..this might return 30% or so, or would you still sell it and replace it with XWD.
