Q: Hi All At 5i!!
What are your thoughts on Quanta Services?? Despite its high valuation, would you still initiate a small position?? Despite high valuations, some stocks still track upward. Would you consider this stock to be one of those? If not, at what price would you consider it a buy?
Over the weekend watched a YouTube video of Tom Lee's interview with Korean news, Tom mentioned "GRNY" his recently inception ETF:Fundstrat Granny Shots US Large Cap ETF which runs a concentrated 35 large cap stocks, and has been out performed "QQQ" & "MAGS" so far this year. Could I have your opinion of this ETF if it is worth to give a try and rick facts associated with it please?
Q: Tom Lee is quite bullish on bitcoins and mentioned "CRCL" a stable coin name. What is your take on this one, how does it compare with "GLXY" in terms of risk-rewards for next couple of years? Thanks
Q: What does Stablecoin to the price of Ethereum? I understand that Stablecoins are pegged to USD. If more transactions happen on the Ethereum network, why would the value of Ethereum increase? I can't see the connection.
If I wanted to dip my foot into Ethereum, should I buy ETFs like ETHA? Any other recommendations?
Q: The US is on the verge of approving the BBBill which, according to the CBO and other analysts, will add massively to the US debt. and commensurate debt service questions.I know that we have fretted for decades about US indebtedness and it's been an ongoing nothing burger as the US keeps chugging along, leaving Canada and other markets in its wake. However, this time, the debt charts forecast skyrocketing debt, not a gradual increase at all. If, or when, interest rates climb, is this not a disaster waiting to happen or Is this time different? How can we tell if/when it's time to reduce our US exposure? Is the bond market our only reliable barometer? What are your thoughts on this unprecedented development? What should small retail investors be watching out for and what moves, if any should we be considering? Many thanks.
Q: Today SSL agreed to a takeover by Royal Gold in an all share transaction representing a 20% premium at some previous date. What is you opion on this offer. Thanks Mike
Q: Just came across this stock a few weeks ago and would love your analysis and thoughts on this small cap miner and their recent news on a nasdaq and U.S. public offering?
Thanx as always
Gary
Q: Terravest, Celestica, Lumine, Vitalhub, Hammond power solutions and several other stocks have already been discovered by the market, with their share prices reflecting that momentum over time. In your opinion, could you name 2-3 stocks US and CAN that are still under the radar and have strong potential to surge once they're discovered by the broader market? Thank you for your excellent service and insightful guidance.
Q: I am looking for a broad US ETF that is hedged so that if the Cdn dollar goes up vs the USD, I do not lose out. Also, when they are hedged, does it work both ways? ie whether the dollar goes up or down vs the USD. Are there more costs to this type of ETF?
Thanks
Q: According to CNN, "Currently, gamblers can deduct their losses before paying taxes on their winnings. Under Trump’s bill, though, they’ll be able to deduct just 90% of their losses. For example: Win $100,000, but lose $80,000? You’ll have made $20,000 but owe taxes on $28,000. “This new amendment to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act would end professional gambling in the US and hurt casual gamblers, too,” professional poker player Phil Galfond said on X. “You could pay more in tax than you won.”
An easy question for you, as it's more or less just speculation, but how could you see this affecting these two stocks? Thank you!
Q: Hi Peter at present I have an FHSA for my son holding both BAM and BN, if you had to pick one to sell so you could increase one of the other shares, which one is best suited for this type of account, or would you still stick with both. Thanks
Q: With these two etf's both modeling the S&P 500 and returns since inception appearing to be only .69% apart why do they have such different pricing per unit? I assume both are treat similar in tax treatment?
