Q: Hi, BCE shares have been hammered for past few weeks with stock making new 52 weeks lows everyday, with market fearing that company could cut or not be able to keep pace with dividend increases, due to pressure on its cash flow. Company has a large debt load and yesterday the Rating Agency placed BCE on a negative watch, which makes it more expensive for BCE to borrow. Pay out ratio is already over 100% of its earnings. Current dividend yield of 8.5% could be viewed as flashing warning signals.

BCE is held in 5i Income Portfolio and generally rated well, per your recent comments. Are you still comfortable to hold it in Income Portfolio ? Also, if income is not the primary objective for an investor, is it not prudent to liquidate even at current price and move on to other opportunities with lower dividend and better growth?

Q: Hi, Intact Financial shares dropped today over $3, on no news, while most of the P&C Co's shares in US were holding on well or even higher. IFC is a favorite ( Bal Portfolio) at 5i and the valuation does not seem expensive compared to its US peers. Would you be comfortable adding at current level of $226 ? Thank You

Currently for healthcare exposure I own VEEV and WELL. I was considering replacing VEEV with either LLY or UNH. Would this be advisable? If so, which one would you recommend? Also, regarding Well would you recommend continuing to hold it; or selling it to make a switch for either LLY or UNH as well? What sort of mix here would you recommend? I am looking for long term growth here. Lastly...do you see the healthcare sector in general to be a good place to be right now?

Q: Hi 5i, back in Feb 22 Tom asked a question re Global ETF's. Your answer referred to a Lo Vol ETF with symbol LVHI.
I have been unable to find this ETF, is there any chance that this might have been a "typo" ?

Q: I know that you still like KXS, and you also like XIT. I manage my son’s TFSA, and he’s made a tidy profit in KXS, since it’s been held for quite a while. However, going forward, and since more recent charts indicate XIT's outperforformance, what would be your assessment of switching from KXS to XIT?

He doesn’t have enough room to buy CSU or SHOP, and I see that they’re the first two holdings in XIT, and would you agree that these two names are ‘better’ than KXS? As well, XIT holds a small amount of KXS.

Finally, he can buy and sell XIT with zero commission.

Your pertinent advice is, as always, important in our decision making.

Q: Hi - can you please give your perspective on why the shares have performed so poorly despite the company having such "sticky" tenants? I would have thought that the business would have been so predictable (due to the type of tenant) and therefore easy to "manage" into a reliable long term moderate growth company....but it hasn't. Going forward...do you think the sticky tenants offer a positive way forward for the company?

Q: Just adding on to the last question on NBLY. Since the arrangement has been approved, would it not be a smart play to purchase shares at around the buyout price in order to have access to the CVR rights? It looks like you would get your investment returned within a week when the deal closes and you could await the result of the CVR at no cost.

Q: What is the reason for the big move in Lundin today (Wednesday). Up over 9% and I can’t find any news? Also do you know when it will go ex-dividend. Last dividend I see declared was $.09 on Nov 30

Q: What do you think is the primary reason why EIF is having such trouble getting any kind of traction? Their recent earnings were solid and well received by investment firms, many of whom raised their targets (eg. TD, RBC, Canaccord, Raymond James, ATB). And yet within a couple of days, the stock price has reversed itself and is now back down below $48.00.
