Q: Hi, I was wondering what you would suggest for additions to an RESP which currently holds VGG
and GSY. Long term hold, moderate risk ok.
Two or three top recommendations please, and Thanks for your excellent service! Thanks, Lavern

Q: Good Morning Peter & Team,

There's been some discussion on 5i re CJT. Demand is up but labor & fuel inflation is causing costs to go up as well. Today it's approaching a 16 month low at $164. Never want to try and catch a falling knife however, price target is $250. Is this a good pick with on-line/Amazon shopping volume continuing to show signs of increasing? Or do you have an alternative which might be a better choice to take advantage of this trend? Besides AMZN ofcourse which I already have.

Thanks for all you do

gm

Q: Greetings:
As always it is known that you are not tax consultants, but please tell me what you know about a Section 51 election, and when it might be best to make use of it, as well as what CRA form number would be required?

Thank You,
BEN.

Q: When I look at the long term chart for this ETF it seems since the pandemic began (and after that initial drop) that the the share price has been on a steeper upwards trajectory than it ever was historically? It also looks as if the volume has been a bit higher than before. Is there a simple explanation that is obvious to everyone but me? Is it a few of the top 10 underlying securities that are driving the whole behaviour, or has owning the ETF become that much more attractive in the face of single company risk since the pandemic began? I always appreciate your insight, thanks.

Q: I have my RRSP with a full service broker - Canadian dollar & $US account - If I bought a stock on the TSE in canadian dollars and that stock pays it's dividends in $US - is it possible (to save any conversion fees) to have the dividends transferred to my $US RRSP? If YES - is there any cost of any kind to be expected?
