Q: Hi, the stock as well as competitors FISV and especially GPN are all significantly down and I can't find news that would justify the move. Any idea? Is there an opportunity on FIS which seems to be a quality company in a growing industry ?

Q: Please provide your assessment of the last quarter. This has been an underperformer for the past 6 months now, selling off at every quarterly report.

Q: The short duration bond ETFs like these have declined in last few months with possibility of increased rates. If these are held for five years, would there still be loss of principal, if interest rates stay higher than today. I was assuming if bonds are held to maturity, there is no loss of principal. Hopefully, my question makes sense.

I am thinking about buying PRL as a 5 year hold in my RRSP at 1% of my total holdings.

Q: You mention that whenever there is a big drop in share price the ambulance chasers come out and try a class action lawsuit. I have seen it in many stocks lately. How often would you say that the lawyers see something out of it or do they just fade away when they don't get enough people to sign up? Or the share price bounces back making the lawsuit useless.

Q: Following on from a 19 Oct question, you rated dividend safety as: NPI, BEPC, CPX, RNW, AQN.

The payout ratio (12 month rolling, based on operating cash flow) was then shown as: BEPC 90%, AQN 170%, CPX 22%, NPI 20%, RNW 90%.

From this it seems like a 12 month rolling ratio is not a strong surrgate to dividend safety. I was a bit surprised but maybe 12 months is just too short.

Anyway, if such is the case, what metrics guided the views on dividend safety?
