Q: I need to increase my weighting in industrials and have been researching ITW. It seems to be a very well managed company with an outstanding return on invested capital over many decades. Yet it seems out of favour in the analyst community. Why? Would you look through the noise and buy it for a long term hold?

Q: If someone wants to buy shares of Airbus, the European competitor to Boeing, what would be the best stock symbol to use? I see at least 10 different ones. Two seem the most reasonable: EADSF on the OTC Markets in USD, and AIR.PA on the Paris exchange in euros. What’s your view of Airbus compared to Boeing? Thank you
Q: Hi 5i
I'm thinking of adding to MG (50.50). If Carney and King Chump get a 'deal' in the next 30 days could we see a pop from MG? Are there other stocks you think might pop on a deal?
Greg

Q: Bought deal fort PNG, $100M, at $2.66 a share. What does this mean? Seems like a high amount for PNG. Is this to get new sales and prepare/fulfill new larger orders? I believe all this is good news but I defer to the experts. Is it good for shareholders?
Q: Could you please comment on the recent announcement that Vitalhub "filed and obtained a receipt for a preliminary short form base shelf prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario"?
What does that mean for shareholders? Do you view this as a positive or negative? How does this affect your sentiment towards the company and it's near term share price?
Thank you.

Q: Hello, I would like your opinion of BTB REIT. I know it is small but it seems to be chugging along since the pandemic. The distribution is attractive, given the 8% AND the fact that, since 2006, it is all return of capital. How is this possible since most other REITs have typically a mixed bag of ROC and « other income » and/or capital gains? Thanks

Q: Hello, a fund manager who is a frequent guest on BNN has mentioned more then once that his firm recently sold their CNR holdings after learning that the company had recently used debt to buy back shares. He failed to provide much detail as to why he did this and why he was not happy with managements decision to do this. From what I understand, companies will from time to time, buy back shares when they feel the shares are undervalued. Perhaps they secured a competitive rate on the debt and felt that buying back the shares was a constructive action to take with this new debt. Would you be comfortable buying CNR at these levels? Looking forward to your thoughts. Thanks.

Q: I consider these moonshot type stocks. I am in nbis nv but not the others. Are any of them worth buying at these prices? I would have to sell more established stocks like google, tsm, Avgo, asml to raise funds. I am reluctant to sell a more established name to buy a winger but it’s hard to see the moonshots go up so much and not have fomo. Thanks.

Q: Good evening!
Looking to add to my portfolio, and these are all high dividend payers. Could you rank them with regard to safety (primarily preservation of capital with low chance of potential problems on any visible horizon), and then also rank them from best grower to worst grower? Please take credits you think are fair.
Thanks! Paul K
