Q: In my accounts I hold the above. Would you please rank them for their expected total return over the next 1-3 years. Also with respect to each holding, if applicable, would you please give me a subsitute that you "prefer" or suggest might perform better in the same space.

Thanks,

Terry

Q: Recently I asked for alternatives for MMF559 in both MF and ETF versions. you answered with the ETF options but the Mutual Fund alternatives was missing - it looks like MF but no actual choices. below is your answer.

"MER is 1.85%, and since-inception is 4.25%. Not really overly impressive. It is a global, fixed-income multi sector income fund. ETF alternatives could be: TGFI or VGAB, largely on much lower costs and decent safe income. Versus other mutual funds, performance has been OK. We found several with lower fees but also weaker than performance. If going with a mutual fund vs an ETF, we would stay the course.

Mutual fund alternatives: "

Q: Trying to decide whether to sell stocks in my TFSA now as they are in US dollars and I might want to purchase a condo in next 4 years. I am worried now that if dollar continues to rise and if stocks go nowhere or even up a little I'll take a big hit. All great, blue chip companies that have done well in past ten fifteen years.. American Express, Chubb, Bank of America, Eli Lily, Nvidia, etc.... Any predictions on how high the CAD could go and how does one figure out a strategy when dealing with currency and declining stock prices. Thank you for your wisdom!

Q: To what degree do you agree with the logic that the USD and US t-bills are being debased as reserve currency, and to what degree to you advise making portfolio changes?
I have assets in short and long term positions-it would be helpful to have input about both.

Q: What do you think market reaction would be on 1) removal of Fed chair Powell and replacement by the man proposed by Pres. Trump, 2) drop of interest rates by the new Fed Chair and whether this drop would overpower the tariff influence, and 3) the liklihood of any lower interest rate euphoria quickly wearing off because of the tariffs?
Thanks a lot for you valued insights.

Q: Hi 5i.
I own small position in Sprott Silver trust.
I would like to add small position(s) of some silver producers.

What are you recommendations for an ETF, which may make the most sense or perhaps 2 producers. Prefer a conservative (for retirees) choice(s).
Thank you for the great service.

Q: What would be a good replacement for MMF559 - could you provide a mutual fund and ETF option and brief points why. Or should I just keep it? Just not sure it's performance justifies the cost.
Thanks

Q: Thank you for your great service. I have read The Wealthy Barber and was wondering what your thoughts are on the 10% rule (i.e. investing 10% of your income) and if, as a 35 year old, dollar cost averaging into a mutual fund/etf is one of the best ways to save for my retirement? Could you recommend an etf that would be suitable for this investment strategy? Thank you.

Q: We are down about 15% from the peak of the S&P 500. I have about 5% of my portfolio in USD cash to deploy. Would you advise going a fifth of my cash for every 3% further fall in the S&P 500? I have enough Google and Meta, but was looking at JPM and Apple. Any other US names you can suggest?

Q: I've been reading a lot about what retirees should do in this environment and most people suggest, have a cash wedge you're comfortable with and keep the balance of your portfolio in the market.

That seems reasonable to me if you have a portfolio. Have you an idea of what percentage of the general public has investments? Are we just talking to a privileged few? Thanks
