Q: Following up on a question from David answered today on mid-cap gold stocks, you brought up 3 names that did not include ARIS (WDO, KNT and GMIN). I personnaly think ARIS is currently overpriced but selling it would generate an important tax liability for me. Do you see it as a buy or hold at this time.

Also do you see KNT and WDO as buys (I currently see GMIN as overpriced) and would you compare them to ARIS at the current time.

Please take as many credits as needed.

Thank you

David mentioned ARIS in the prior question as already owned which is why we did not include it in the answer. We still like it and it still has potential. As of today we would see it as more of a HOLD than a BUY, but still like its long term potential. KNT is larger than ARIS and is cheaper on many metrics. The balance sheet is fine and very solid EPS growth is expected. We see it as a BUY; WDO has lagged, is smaller, but very cheap and growth looks excellent if it can execute better. It has $285M net cash and we see it as a BUY but a bit of patience may be needed here. GMIN is the most expensive of this group, also the largest. Its recent operational outlook was solid, and it is getting a lot of broker upgrades. More of a momentum buy, and we like the sector, but agree it may could probably be bought a little cheaper for patient investors.
