Q: Yesterday you said to BEN re DRIPS that you should register shares in your own name directly with the company- did you mean a person would have to call/write the company yourself- and have the physical share certificate from your brokerage? Thanks.rod

Q: On October 30th. Peter asked you about the recent results is AP.UN.
In your response you indicated that AP.UN increased the distribution by 11%
Is this an increase over and above the $1.80 dividend indicated now ? Is the new dividend $1.80 + 11% of $1.80. ?
Thanks.

Q: Since early 2023, I de-risked my general asset allocation to 30% equity. 30% ultra-short-term corp bonds, 30% MMF. The rest is mostly physical gold (PHYS), with a tiny bit of silver exposure. I am wondering about starting a small position in oil such as CPG or WCP. My other interest is also Sprott Physical Uranium as I have a tiny position in CCO which also did well. Any thoughts on which one is a better story, Uranium or oil?
Q: How do you feel about SEDG today? Hold/sell/buy? I thought that solar was a big part of our future. What happened to SolarEdge Technologies?
Q: Thoughts on tou latest quarter. thanks
Q: At what point do you get concerned about the debt on a company’s balance sheet. Are there any other ratios that you look at besides “Net Debt / EBITDA” and “Net Debt/FCF” to determine if a company’s balance sheet is stretched. What are your thresholds for these 2 ratios as well as any others that you look at?
On another related note, I don’t get why PBH has always been a favourite of yours. The last 12 months data shows net debt of $2.02B, EBITDA of $288M and FCF is $26.7M (ltm numbers) for ratios of 7.04x for net debt/ebitda and 75.7x debt/fcf. Please explain the disconnect as the numbers show the balance sheet extremely!! stretched.
Thanks

Q: Own both. Looking to add funds to increase Energy exposure.
Which would you prefer and what are the Free Cash Flow numbers for each?
Is there another Energy stock that you prefer having comparable growth prospects and attractive reliable dividends?
Thanks again m

Q: Jeffry Gundlach, on Closing Bell ( MSNBC) after J Powell’s press conference, talked about how easy it is to get 7-8% yields and even as high as 12-13% with very little risk.
More specifically he cited closed end funds trading at 50-60 cents on the dollar.
Would you please provide a few examples of what I could buy.
Do you also agree that the risk is very low.
Thanks

Q: Hi Team,
I've been watching Hammond since you put it the growth portfolio and to this point just watching has not been the right move. In a question prior to earnings you mentioned a price of $57 or ~$55 was a good entry point. Now at $74 it feels like I missed the boat on this one.
Should one enter now or wait? Do you think it will come back down? What would be a decent entry price today for a 3 year (minimum) hold ?
Thank you

Q: Hello, Raymond James dropped the price target of ATS to $61 from $67 ( Still a BUY ), in a preview of the quarter, yesterday. Not sure if other analysts on the street will trim estimates/target, leading to Nov 8 release of results. Is this a hint of what could be in the store ? Stock has been weak over past several weeks, perhaps, in anticipation of a soft quarter. What's your take ? Thank You

Q: These stocks all have a dividend yield of 5% or greater and have market capitalization greater than 3 billion. When I see BNS with a dividend yield of 7.5% I have to think that the market is near a bottom realizing that the prices can always go lower. Please rate these stocks in two ways: safety of dividend and estimated 5-year total return. Do any of these stocks cause you any concern now or long term? Thanks.
Q: Could I have your opinion on Shopify results? They appear excellent

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you provide an update on Sierra Madre Gold and Silver including its projects and exploration opportunities, its cash on hand and the balance book in general, and insider activity/holdings. Is it possible to find out if Rick Rule still has shares and are there any individuals or institutions that own a significant number of shares. I think the symbol is SM.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Q: "Green" energy comprises only small part of total energy needs. It stands & falls with government (taxpayer's) subsidies, which are here today and (possibly) gone tomorrow.
Infrastructure needs, on the other hand, will only grow. I'd appreciate your take on this.
Also, would you say that one is "better" than the other on fundamentals?
thanks jerry
