Q: I have held these three funds since early 2016 for the stability component (maintain capital and some income) in my portfolio. The annual MER's are .44, .86 and .84. respectively, I have series F in the PMO funds. Extra year end distributions for the PMO funds were nice but they stopped after 2018 year end.

Their total capital growth has been very modest, about 2-4% total over several years.

I am not too comfortable with the higher annual MER's.

Could you comment if I might see significant capital drop if interest rates go up? Also, could you recommend any different holding or stock that I may consider instead of these funds for stability and income?

Thank You.

Q: First time poster here.
With the slight decline recently, which of these following companies do you guys like the most for a growth portfolio for the next 5-10 years? I have 150K to invest (consider this fun spending money and money to play with), and I want to know how much of the 150K would you guys invest in each of these companies separately? ie. 35k in CSU etc
(side note), the report card for TOI said it was valued at 10 billion when it was $60/share. But now it's $131/share and everywhere I read it says 5 billion market cap. Was this a typ-o?). Thanks!

Q: Hello 5i Team,
I would like to expand my utilities exposure (beyond the positions I already hold in Emera and Fortis). I am considering taking a position in either Canadian Utilities or Capital Power. Both have similar yields and dividend growth over the past 5 years. Which of the two would you favour, and why? This is for a long-term income focused account.
Many thanks,
Brian

Q: Am looking at Magna for my TFSA with a 2 year rebound focus. The chip shortage seems to be depressing the stock ; would a 2 year period to fix the shortage seem reasonable ? It looks like a battle is looming to acquire Veoneer and the stock has been hitting lower highs over the last 6 months. Would you wait and see how the takeover ends, see some turnaround in the chip market ? In essence, buy now or wait until some clarity on these issues ? Thanks . Derek

Q: I once read that the correlation between the price of gold and inflation is only about 60%; i.e., not very strong. Do you have any data to show otherwise?

Q: I recently sold my shares in RDFN for a small loss as it has not be doing much. I have been looking for a new real estate position in my TFSA to replace RDFN. I have noticed more questions recently about EXPI. Can you describe why you like this company? Would it be one of your top picks in real estate US stocks? If not, what are your ranked top 5 in order? I see EXPI is down 13% today as of writing this question (no news that I can find) and wondering what you might see as a favorable entry point. I am ok with volatility and am looking for long-term growth in my TFSA.
