Q: Good morning 5i; I would appreciate your assessment on the stock performance of NEE in the medium term based on the no/slow growth announcement today. The stock has dropped 8.2% on the news, which ironically was the same day it was selected for Morgan Stanley's dividend playbook. I hold it for modest growth and $US dividend diversification. I'll likely swap out if I conclude it has the hallmarks of an underperformer.

Q: Bought zwu at 10.79. Is there a chance of a rebound here or a sell. Have a fairly large position in bir. at average of 8.45. Your thoughts. Have no dfn. your opinion on this stock surviving. thanks
Q: I was very surprised to read your answer to a question from Dennis on September 28th and I’m looking for an explanation as I hold BNS in all my accounts and have always considered it one of Canada’s top blue chip companies that has been paying a dividend for over 100 years. You ranked BNS second from last in dividend sustainability behind high debt, high payout ratio, low growth companies like BCE, T and ENB. Thanks.
Q: Several analysts during the last couple of weeks recommended on BNN either sell or don't buy TRP.
Can you please comment whether, in your opinion, TRP is a hold or sell ?
Will you recommend averaging down at this level ?
Will also appreciate any comments on the sustainability of the dividend.
Looking at the insider buying/selling information of my discount broker I do not see any substantial ownership by senior management. Can you confirm this ?
Please deduct as many credits as necessary.
Thanks

Q: Assuming I would like to divide recent funds into 4 companies that I can set up as DRIP’s and leave for 20 years what would you recommend. I am diversified otherwise.
Q: AOI was sharply lower today. Do you see any news or have any info. Thank you
Q: Are Utilities stocks dividends safe in a rising interest rate environment? To wit, is there a high risk ZUT could slash its payout?
Q: Hi Peter & team: Long time member- Great service - Thank You!
With regards to Hans' question about Brian Acker's views on Market call- I took it as more of an issue about when cash dividends in $ paid out per share are greater than EPS. Brian used BCE and ENB as examples of an early sign of trouble and one should avoid such situations. You have handled this in the past (very well) Can you provide us a refresher on the opposing view ? If I remember correctly the net is basically "dividends out greater than EPS is OK, but not forever " Thanks in advance.

Q: Brian Acker was on Market Call on September 26. He was asked about some high dividend payers such as BCE and ENB. He said that these high dividends reduce the book value of these stocks, so that in effect one is not really getting a true high yield.
Can you explain this or have a comment?
Thank you, Cheers

Q: Hi Peter and 5i,
Would you please rank the companies for the sustainability of their dividend going forward?
Would you also rank them in the order that you would purchase for yield and dividend?
Thanks so much for your input.

Q: Can you see any particular reason for this stock to do the nosedive it has taken the last week or so? I have not been able to find anything anywhere. Thanks. H.
Q: I have been thinking of replacing PKI with EIF in my RRIF over the last few months. During this time PKI has been steadily rising ( in a weak/ declining market) while EIF has been following the market down. The EIF decline has been quite substantial from what I see is a strong company with good prospects. Is there something wrong with the company that us retail investors don’t know about. ? Is there a rerating of the company going on ? Several analysts have been more positive on PKI. Should one expect strength in this stock to continue. ? Trying to figure out when ( and if ) I should make the switch. My gut says to wait this out. Your thoughts are appreciated. Thanks. Derek.

Q: Can you comment on your current top 5 Canadian dividend stocks?
Q: Hi, I’m overweight Telus, and although I like it, I feel it is stuck in this low range until it gets much better quarterly results. Do you agree?
So as a dividend investor I would like to sell part to a more reasonable weight, and would like 3 suggestion for another dividend replacement.( sector not a big issue). Thanks

Q: Would you finally pull a plug on ADW.A:CA since its value has been relentlessly going south ? Your hopes expressed in May 2023 report have not materialized in the stock valuation. Having lost over 50% of its value in my portfolio I am not longer optimistic about it recovery in foreseeable future.
Q: Is this stock is investable at this time after its decline has reversed in few months? Thanks.
